Will go ahead and put it out there that Bearden will be minus about five-six starters for tonight's game due to injury, predominantly concussion symptoms. Haney, however, was given the green light after getting a second opinion ealier this week and will be playing. Regardless glhf Rebel fans.

A fairly clean game between these two teams, just one yellow card whole game. Game probably would've been closer if not for the excellent net-work by Jamie White of Bearden. Two first-half goals by McCarty and a missile off a Wojnar direct-kick in the second made up all scoring plays, 3-0 Dawgs.

Bearden rolled out to a 3-0 lead twenty minutes in and decided to pump the brakes considerably the rest of the way, 3-0 final.

Don't know if anyone here has noticed but Bearden is up to 49 in the country

Not to dig up an old thread but having played in the game I'll just lay out my draw for the game. When Peyton, 21, delivered that hit on your quarterback it was entirely out of frustration. If you didn't know Peyton, you couldn't comprehend his passion for the game, let alone in his last football game in his career where very little did anything go Bearden's way. I talked to a few friends out of the student section after about them cheering following the play. They said they could see it was an obvious stinger. Prevo is a monster. Not much else to say. If Devrin was running behind half of what your line is, however, it could have been a better game. Maryville's defense was nasty the whole game. Hard to get open on posts or even curls. Comparing coaches like GQ and Taylor, it's that one team thinks they can win. The other knows they can. Outside of that not much to say, Maryville played like the golden ball winners that they are. Everyone at Bearden has an immense resepct for GQ and their tradition. The rebel flags might need to be retired though...

I'd like to see those same stats in the games where Bearden was 100% healthy. First five, last two. Also, lol'd at the comment that said 24 on Bearden was good. 88 is loads the superior.

Was running over to the sideline on that second down play, and I hate to tell y'all this but he was without question in. Both feet in green turf, ball tips the pylon. Not a way you want to win a game.

Curious but what was y'all's home crowd turnout for last week? This'll be the biggest crowd I think I've played in front of, along with a good bit of our younger players

The game will be decided on the decision-making of Riemer; in games where he is under two turnovers Bearden is unbeaten. Our wideouts will need to work towards getting Kyle easier passes earlier on.

Just some extra notes for what seems like the majority DB fans. - Last week was the first game since week 3 that the whole team has been healthy. -Have had numerous xp's blocked throughout the year. - Do NOT have a kicker that can put the ball in the endzone, will be skying it to 30-35 every k.o. - Bearden was missing captains Peyton Landers and Drew Williamson in the Maryville, Farragut games. - QB Riemer can create some big plays on his feet but has a tendency to always feel like he has to make a play-- multiple forced passes, INT's. - O-Line is sub-par. Near all of Dev's yards this year were earned by him. - Core of team is linebacking unit, Logan Candela #88, Peyton Landers #21, Drew Williamson #42. - Devrin's only glaring problem is that he always wants to bust off a run for the highlight reel, more east-west. - Speeds at wideout are dangerous. - D-line can swat down low balls by the dozen, 4 v. Hardin Valley. - Team is looking forward to playing against a program like Dobyns-Bennett but don't expect the fans to be as willing to make the trek to Kingsport. Also, this 2 hour bus ride should be interesting
