agree on Washington, he was good but based on all I had read and the recruitment to AL, I was just expecting more. The kid from South Pit has more game. Very scary moment when #17 went down, began praying immediately, so thankful he got up. I didn't see him move for what seemed like a long time.

While TCA was well prepared I firmly think that the following would beat them: South Pit, Friendship, and Trousdale.

SM is just trying to build a program that the girls golf team can be proud of. The best prepared and coached team that I have observed this year is FC. Is Trinity better than them? With no disrepect to TC, there is not a better friday night in TN than what goes down at South Pit.

I have followed Signal since we got the school on the mountain. Prior to that I would just go to various local games; however I seemed to go to more Boyd games than any other. I was drawn to Boyd because they were good, beyound that they played the game the right way. Always respectful, good atmosphere, welcoming to visiting fans, and kids who played as a team. I will be pulling for SM, but if Boyd wins I will be all in for Boyd to win it all. On another note, it saddens me some to see all the trash talking on here. I understand it is mostly in fun, but a lot isn't. The game is for the kids and about the kids, not the parents or those who use to play. Still have to say that South Pit is hands down my favorite stop, nice folks and the best high school atmospere I have ever seen. thanks

Most impressed by Friendship, the best prepared team TheObserver has seen this season. Outstanding game plan, great fan following, and the horn all but neturalized the home field advantage. Kids played their guts out and left it all on the field. The trick play to set up the go-ahead score was executed perfectly. This game had everything that makes high school football so special. In the end Signal won due to the number of kids who play, they just were fresher when it counted.
