  1. Good for Central! Good luck to the Pounders!!!! And good luck Coach!
  2. No, that wasn't started until soccer got big in the states.
  3. Not many have felt the pain of our 2011 Troll, until then they just won't understand.
  4. You are correct, I have been to Maryville and Alcoa games. (don't need google) All I am saying is it sucks some teams get busted for kid being "out of zone" and has to vacate 6 games. Believe me the answer to all of this is open all the zones and just playball. I wish we (Hamilton County) could just let kids go anywhere as long as they provide their own transportation. Not taking away from those programs, they are some of the best in the Southeast US. Well coached and have great communities supporting them. Always pull for them in the State Championship games. I'd just like to see some of our teams (i.e. East Ham, Signal, Ooltewah) play with the Alcoas and Maryville of the state. I'd say if you you mixed up some teams in Hamilton County you would see another annual powerhouse in the mix. JMO
  5. Okay, you're probably correct. And only time will tell.
  6. Please explain: "The devil you know is better that the devil you don't" I am not following you on that one. If we don't have to play them, who cares what they are doing. Not trying to start anything, I would still go watch some of their games. I just hate going and watching games that are not at all fair. Why do you think attendance is down when UTC goes and plays an Alabama or Oklahoma?
  7. I agree 100%, and also the open enrollement areas should have the multiplier. It is horrible for some these kids to never have a fair chance at a championship because of a team winning it every year. I mean when you have a 6A team go undefeated in a season except for being beat by a 3A team (that happen in 2010). Hmmmm, sound kind of strange to me. Just sayin, fair is fair.
  8. Welcome to coachT.com coach, don't take anyone serious on here! And good luck!!!! And oh yeah I met you last week.
  9. Love to but I am holding it for a LB/FB kid, big bruiser of a kid. He'll be up in a couple more years.
  10. Born and raised on Signal, kids go to Signal too. When my kids leave Signal I will be back at Red Bank, my kids want to go to their HS games. I like SM football, I still have a house up there.
  11. I agree, good asst at RB. Hoping the best for this coach and this program.
  12. Hey, they take HS football pretty serious in FL. He may come up here and jack some folks up in a couple of years. Glad they went outside the area. This town needs some new blood, quit passing around the same ole coaches.
  13. I would not have a problem playing the private schools if we had open enrollement, it would level the playing field.
  14. Who knows, I'd like to know who is in the running!
  15. I stand corrected! Saw the Hermit tonight at the Bi-Lo. LOL
  16. We know, all the open enrollements should be lumped in with the privates. LOL
  17. Mine was real short, bottom line if you're not a public school don't play in the public school division. End of story. In the Nooga, Cya Grace, Silverdale, and of course BB and ND.
  18. TSSAA = State Catholic Church = Church Don't mix Church and State. Easy.....................
  19. I'd like to see Drew be the HC at RB sometime. Heck I'd let him take it over right now if he could. JMO
  20. This sucks for the Wildcats, things looking up for them and then BAM!!!
