I have a question...Does CAK give need based financial aid/scholarships ..as you call them..to students that are NON-ATHLETES??

Heard that TSSAA is finally looking to Knox Catholic.. Players being funded by the church or their tuition waived due to family hardships. Sounds like players are going to be ruled ineligible next season or could result in a move to the financial aid division. If it is happening, hope they correct it! Feel sorry for the players and families that lose a season though...!

AC stayed with Karns from what I heard...any truth to that? Torres was a big loss for AC, but that's about it...if this team stayed with Karns, they have some talent.

Oh, I figured they were very good...Just didn't expect such a low score on the AC side...

OR had two great players out.....wouldn't have been close with them in the game..

Well, I'm getting scrimmage info second/third hand and everyone's opinion is different about how a team looks....Heard Sequoyah was bad...Yes, it did hurt AC with all the trouble, but those boys came back and started at the last part of the season...I don't think the team last year ever really played together..."ME" ball was how it looked. Hope AC gets all of their boys eligible and well, soon!

It was tough, but AC had the ability with their players to at least be able to compete.

More bad news for AC...they lost to a very average Catholic and another team that was pretty bad, according to my daughter...they beat Catholic's JV, though. Seems they had a few good players not dressed out....looks like a rough season ahead, but hopefully they will improve! Do they have any good assistant coaches?

He has had some good, unused talent from his underclassmen...he just prefers to start Seniors..no matter what..That mentality cost his team the game against Grace in particular and other teams........I say that if you have upperclassmen that are not very good, you put in those freshman/sophomores and get them some experience! My bottom line is that you PLAY your BEST players...no favorites and with no regard to what grade they may be in...

You are exactly right! For some crazy reason the current coach at AC WILL NOT play Freshman...I don't care how good they are...and it's proved to be a very bad decision all of these years....

If Rian acted like that, then I can only guess where he learned that behavior...?? The apple don't fall far from the tree...I saw him Mom cussing and up in the faces of AC fans and I saw her Son going nuts...hmmmm... It's so funny...those two ladies wouldn't ever use that word...Ridiculous, but I knew that would be said by Oak Ridge...When that's all you have to fall back on, then that card gets used.. The OR police officer was the one who used the word "mob", so go get mad at your own officers of the law if you want to get mad at someone!
