Will has been contacted by 21 different schools . He is waiting for his best offer . He can go on acadeimics alone , he has a 31 act and 3.9 gpa but wants to play colledge football . Six or 7 D-1 schools , 4 in this state , but Acuff also calls him regularly . They are losing their starting center to graduation this year and that also plays in the equation . Mitchell has 4 guys 6-4 , 2 guys 6-5 , tail back weighs 260 and runs like a deer and the best high school qb I've ever seen . He runs like Cawldwell and throws 75 yds . Seen both teams play Ripley , I think Bolivar's OL and DL are both bigger and better than the Trogans . If they can contain Caldwell like Ripley did in 2nd half they might have a chance . They should be able to run the ball their OL averages 280 lbs . But again I think Dyesburg speed will give them the edge . Savor that 1 point win because if you don't beat Chester , which I believe you will I wouldn't show my face on here again . We've got Bolivar next and they are very good . They avg. 280 lbs. on O line and have backs big enough to play on most high school lines . Should be one the best games of the week . I think they will be the best team we've played this year , prepared all week and confident we can handle the task . Will's dad . P.S. one week and one game at time .

Ripley freshmen didn't have any trouble tonight they beat DC 34 - 12 and 6 of the 12 came off a fumble . If I remember right we beat DC by 21 in your house last year and you had Flowers then . Congrats on the win but it was only 1 point .
