I agree they would have been better with the tall girl and my point was the starter Grace was missing was a 5'10 inside player so Grace would have been stronger inside as well. But at this point it is all should of would of. Grace will need to play a very good game to beat OS but OS will also need to play well to beat GCA. I do agree that it is an advantage for private schools in that a student from anywhere can attend but that is for TSSAA to handle not the individual school.

Grace was without a starter also, she may be back for sub-state game. Cant really say what would happen if they had this player or we had that player. Grace does not have any seniors and 1 junior. Started 3 freshman most of the year so good things ahead. OS is a very good team and will be a though game but thats why you play them. Dont over look GCA. Its all about the kids and remember they are just kids. Dont hate

Grace beat Tellico twice Once by 7 and other by 3. That was with their 2nd leading scorer still playing. She went down with a knee injury just before District tournament. Should be a great night of semi-final action.

Great night at Midway last night. First game Grace beat Harriman by 5 in a game that Harriman played a really good game. Grace showed effects of 10 days without playing and without thier sixth man (out with an ankle injury) but pulled it out. The second game went into over time with Tellico hitting a 2 point shot at the buzzer to tie it up and got fouled. She went to the line to win it with no time left but missed the free throw forcing over time. Midway won but tried to give it away by missing free throws. Should be a great final.

Should be a great tournament. Semis will be crazy with 4 good teams. 2 good teams will be out after 1st round. I do think Grace has played very consistant and will pull it off in the end. Harriman and Rockwood both split with Grace in Regular season so who knows. If Grace shoots the ball well they should win but if not, any of the final four teams could win it.

Oliver Springs is playing well right now and I believe thet are the team to beat in region. Grace has lost 3 starters to injury and lost at Midway without them but has 2 back now and 3rd back in 2 weeks so should be back to full speed soon. Still think they will win district and fight for region 1 or 2. Grace is very young and starting 3 freshman and 1 soph and 1 junior right now

Just 7 girls dressing with some quiting. I think new coach seems to be doing a good job. Transition sometimes can be hard

They have shown in the past to get stronger as the year goes on but this year they just dont seem to have the talent. Are they young? I stil think it will be Oliver Springs, Grace and Tellico as the top in the Region and keep an eye on Midway. They arent bad and they are young and could upset someone.

After seeing some of these teams play this year I need to make some changes. District 4 1.Oliver springs 2.Oneida 3.Wartburg 4.Oakdale 5.Coalfield 6.Jellico 7.Sunbright Region 2 1. Oliver Springs or Grace 3.Tellico Plaines 4.Toss Up

Loretto looks pretty good. Solid inside and shoots well. They dont handle pressure real well and will have to improve in that area. They may be a year away but Grace Christian who has no seniors and starts 2 freshman and 2 soph. and a junior and 6th and 7th players are 6' freshman is a team to watch. This weekend they played Loretto and had a shot to tie at the buzzer and lost by 3. Had to stop pressing due to foul trouble or prob would have won. Not a super team just one to keep an eye on.
