Thanks for the info. We are hurting for depth on the line and most will have to play both ways. Coach Rice has been working the young lineman hard trying to develope them into next years starters and some backup for this year. Our qb does a really good job reading the defense and is surrounded by several backs that do a really good job when they get the ball. It's hard to say who the most explosive is in the backfield, WC has a good mix of power and speed. If we don't meet Friday good luck this year and I'll be keeping an eye on y'all's season!

I couldn't agree more, UC returns everybody where in 2012 WC replaced every starter on both sides of the ball plus a few more seniors that didn't start.

Not knocking on cwood but they only won 2 or 3 games last year and I don't see this year being any better. And I'll go ahead and say it before one of them does, one of those wins was a 7-6 win against WC.

Did coach Statom not know it was two hours away when he signed the contract and had them come to cwood??? Just saying. I don't blame cwood but y'all should have honored the agreement.

I too am looking forward to it. Those bone jarring hits go both ways and these backs can deliver. Will be fun to watch these lineman go at it, WC will be starting seniors at every position on the line so we will be bringing experience also but we know y'all have some good ones.

I don't know about this year but last year if I'm not mistaken WC and Cwood both had 303 students.

You should be able to tell what we have but I doubt that coach Rice digs very deep in the playbook. I'm anxious to see that big lineman y'all have and how ours matcup.

I think a lot of that comes from having to play on the line. WC has lineman this year that ain't much bigger than those backs. Being a smaller school don't mean the kids are less talented, just that they are fewer of them.

They are quick for their weight, don't let it fool you, and the best part is that somebody's getting run over!

No but they're all fast and you got Turnbow that's about 185 that's run the ball hard this year and been catching some passes out of the backfield. You also got Mathis that's probably the fastest kid on the team but not very big but a great open field runner and return guy.

Its nice to see everyone getting along and the season hasn't even started yet.

There is no region anymore, it split into districts 11 and 12. WC and Loretto should be the front runners with WC being slightly better, but that's just my opinion and anything can happen during the course of the season.

Not at first but got better as the game went on.

Sorry, WC started slow while running a bunch of different plays with different players but in the end scored three quick ones to win 5 tds to two.

Its hard to put freshman on the line and expect a whole lot from them no matter how big they are.
