Maybe you should try playing some of the better 1A teams if you want to prove that Fairview wasn't just a decent team playing an easy schedule last year. It wasn't just NCS and McEwen that were easy teams on Fairview's schedule.

These brilliant NCS fans fail to realize how many of the 20 losses took place while Owens, Blackburn, and Henderson were actually playing. NCS isn't a very good team, and it will show in the tournament.

NCS over Ezell, then FRA, then DCA? That's the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Nashville Christian is not very good. Although they do have some very good shooters, thats about it. If you think that NCS will be quicker than Ezell, then you're just stupid. Ezell wins no problem.

FRA by 2 in OT. Very intense game down to the last second. FRA didn't play Foley or Warren until the 4th quarter, but it was a good game for both teams.

He was bumped up due to the number of FRA wrestlers who were out for that match. He still weighs about 171, and wrestling guys who weigh 18 pounds more than you is a large disadvantage, especially against Father Ryan, so dont sell him short.

They usually don't talk about the semi-final game against FRA where they won at the last second despite FRA having one of their worst games of the year. Something like 0-14 on 3's, 50% from the line, and 30% from the field, and only lost by 1 I think. Really shows who the better team was.

No. When FRA scrimmaged Fairview this summer, FRA was far superior. Fairview did not play teams like Ezell, CPA, DCA, Trousdale, or Boyd Buchanan this year. Ezell has only beaten FRA the past two years. Fairview would not have been able to beat DCA and CPA in probably the past 10 years. There is more to measuring a team's ability than record, such as opponent quality.

Then what would you call Aaron Cothran? Im not saying that Clarke is outstanding, but he deserves some recognition, and he is much better than some of the other people listed.

I am wondering why Jason Clarke, a senior from FRA, hasn't been on any All-State or Mid state teams? he was the 3rd leading tackler in the state according to the Tennessean after 10 games with 133. He had 20 tackles against Boyd Buchanan and 15 against McEwen. You know from watching him that he is a great defensive player, yet he's not even seen an honorable mention. This is a big overlook.

That means that someone stunk at timing 3 times in a row. 4.2 is faster than anyone in high school right now.

While Wipperman is getting down to wrestle 171, he had to wrestle 189 against Ryan. Zach Ingle still has another week before being able to wrestle again, and Jesse Murphy is recovering from a dislocated elbow, I think, suffered this fall while wrestling. Brandon Grass, a state qualifier in 8th grade, suffered some concussions last year and is unable to wrestle. Cody Taylor, the coaches son, suffered a serious neck/spinal injury last year and is unable to participate in physical sports anymore. Last years heavy weight Taylor Layman is also not wrestling so to not risk injury for football. Despite all this, i still think FRA's wrestling program will only get stronger in coming years.

Well considering that Ezell/FRA has nothing at all to do with FRA/Celina, I guess thats why that comment makes sense. Yes, I know that Celina won to go to the finals, but considering that FRA was only something like 50% from the field and 0-14 from 3 point land and Celina still had to come from behind in the final seconds showed that FRA was just as good even on their worst days.

FRA was the better team last year, and they didn't lose anybody, so I would expect them to still be ahead.

I guess now I know why it wasn't a big game for DCA. In retrospect, they made the right choice having it so early in the afternoon.
