How can you say distance runners dont win track meets for you. Look at FRA's recent history. No single area will win a track meet for you, but with 4-5 distance events, if you have a solid distance squad you can do some serious damage, especially in Tennessee where the competition isnt that deep.

Quit the crying Sprintfest. If your telling me those guys would have made a 50 point difference, your crazy. Also, if you want to discuss adversity BA did the same in overcoming it. Ross went down for the count in decathalon and 110s and 300IMs which would have been another 25 points at least. So look at it this way, your lucky to only have lost by 50. No one is belittling McCallie's hard work so get over yourself. Every team in the state works their butts off to get to the top. BA has done it for four years, thats impressive. If you didn't want to walk away empty handed, you should have trained harder.

IIRC JJaynes won coming from behind with a low 9:50s time Oliver Central was 2nd (I think thats the school) Russell Rodewald was 3rd with a 9:53 I think Michael Bailey was 4th with a 10:2x low Libscomb was 5th Two more guys were towards the 11 minute mark, maybe over. Joseph Pair collapsed (Presumably from the heat, but I am not sure at all) Hopefully he is alright. If anyone knows anything, please clue us in.

It would take all around exceptional performances for those to occur, but its the state meet, you never know what could happen! We can toss e-town's hopes into the distance category which will make it all the more interesting! Brainerd will have a tougher road, but they qualified a lot of people

The meet will be won be either Page, Mitchell, or maybe even FRA. FRA's best shot is beating Page in the distance events. If they don't do that it will be extremely tough. Page and Mitchell will be fighting it out between eachother in what will be a very very tight meet. It should be exciting!

I don't know anything for sure, but this is why I suspect it was done: 1. They are familar with DCA 2. Overton and FRA sometimes don't have the best relationship 3. There could already be gym commitments for schools like overton or CPA

FRA played Moore County a little while ago. I want to say 3 years or so, I can't remember exactly, but I know I was there. I always thought that yall played at Motlow State all the time. That gym was covered with Moore Co. stuff. A great environment too!

I will back RyRy up on that. Coach Mac would never allow that to happen. FRA is not a dirty team, they just play hard. If you have ever watched a college or pro game than you will see just how physical the game is.

FRA... Relax. You have no need to back up your game on coach t and no need to complain about it on here. Your statements should be made in the way you played not in what you typed on a keyboard.
