  1. I'm afraid I disagree. I have seen both HH and EHS play and this year it will be an EHS blow-out. They have way too many athletes for HH and they are young also. They play 2 Jrs, 3 soph, and three freshman. I agree that HH is well coached and she gets as much out of her teams as you can get. The only D2 E/M team that will complete with EHS is BA as they return all five starters.
  2. Shakein, I agree one play does not a season make. This was just meant as additional piece of information. The 3rd and 28 that was converted earlier in the second half against Derek King, in tight converage, along the EHS sideline was a more difficult catch. I think that one went for about 40 yards also. There are at least 4 or 5 WR's that are deserving. It will be close.
  3. Worth noting, the 3rd and 37 in the BA game was a pass to Dingess where he just went up and caught it at the highest point, way above the smaller DB. It was a pro-style catch. Also more in favor of Parker; he never seemed to be rattled. If he had just coverted 3rd and 37 or thrown a pick he would have the same demeaner, calm and confident.
  4. Agree Batey is a superior athlete in every way and will be a major recruit next year. Dingess was consistent all year but really made some "sick" catches at the end of the season. I saw almost every game and I don't remember him ever dropping a ball he got his hands on. He is not blazing fast because of his height, but he always seemed to be open and he tracks the ball well in the air and can jump. He finished with over 30 catches for about 600 yards in 10 games at WR in a run oriented offense. I agree Josh Smith and Hale are great players. However, the victor gets the spoils.
  5. I would substitute David Dingess for either Keenan Hale or Weldon Garlington at WR based primarily on the finish to his season. He came up big in the BA Semi-finals (6 catches for 127 yards). His two long catches on third down and 30 plus yards were one of the keys to that win. Plus the game winner in the Baylor game and he was an excellent down field blocker all year.I think he finished # 4 in receiving yards for D2 behind the Smith brothers and Cory Batey.
