Greenfield did beat Dresden @ Dresden but Dresden beat Greenfield at Greenfield. That might be an interesting pairing if it turns out that way in the region. As others have said the tall girl from WC is a sophomore. The next couple of years look promising for WC.

Dresden's players have been told the opposite of this. I will check again at the boys game tonight.

Seems sort of odd that a few months ago when you picked them, there were a lot of nay sayers. Everyone is incredibly quiet now that they have won....Congratulations Lady Lions!

Volfan007 Glisson is out for a while and there is one other girl who is hurt. The bench is sort of a lonesome place however they have gotten some good minutes out of the bench players so far. As far as who to watch, I think everyone is expecting to see Huntington be good because of their coach and some athleticism from last year. I guess the season will tell the tail.

OK 13A folks time to wake up! I was reading the 14A list and you would think Greenfield won the state title because they beat Dresden's girls. Last night was a very bad outing for the Lady Lions. I don't think it is Representative of what we have seen our will see at all. Never seem to play well at Greenfield. That is a hard place to win a game.Things are usually different with the same teams in other gyms. Hasn't been much said about Big Sandy, I watched them play at the Westview playday. They could be a surprise to everyone this year.

uuuuuuh well maybe you need to check to see who is in which district before you make any bets. I agree that it would be quite a shock for a team to win a district that they are not in.

I was out at DHS yesterday afternoon and there was no aroma. Need to get Griff and the farm boys to stir up something. Wouldn't want to disappoint every one.

Congratulations to Lake county from this Lions fan. Not much to say about the game that hasn't already been said. I wish you the best for the rest of the tourney. Every team except one has to go home eventually. I am proud that our Lady Lions got to the point where they were beaten by a top team. Congratulations to the Lady Lions on a great season. It is emotional for the seniors especially.Congratulations to Big Sandy and to Miss. Mena. I didn't realize that she was only a sophomore. She will be someone to contend with for a couple more years.

You summed it up pretty well. Mckenzie could be a spoiler. But, if the Lady Lions are up to par, they should be able to handle them. You never know, that's why they play the games. Thursday night should be fun.I wish I could have seen the Big Sandy-West Carroll game. Wonder what happened there?

I just heard that we are back on for tonight. Not verified but I think it is so.

I hope we get to make the game up. It might be difficult to get it in since we are so close to the end of the regular season but it would be nice to play again before tournament time. The lady lions have Phillips back which should help against Greenfield's 2 big girls. other than that it is the same people that were playing at the first of the season but it is not the same team. Gleason beat us by 14 the first round but it was a different story the second game. I always like to see our neighbors from Greenfield come to town. It makes for some excitement.Plus,the cash from the gate and the concessions are good.
