If LC plays BTW you will understand my logic. BT was capable of beating TCA by a lot more but chose to stall instead. LC is not capable of blowing TCA out. LC does not have anyone who is close to Newby.

Please hear me loud and clear, BTW is the BEST team in Class A basketball. TCA played a very, very good Lake County team and was tied with 2 left but please understand that if LC is a 9 on a scale of 1-10, then BTW is a 10. BT is at a whole different level. Would love to see those two in championship game. Hope they are in opposite brackets. Would be one heck of a game! Both teams are crazy athletic! Good luck to both and bring one home to West Tennessee.

Sheriff, the more I read the more I realize you just don't know basketball! Northcut was brilliant last night! Horton was the one who just about blew it. He could have easily forced the action while TCA was in the zone but he was scared to death they couldn't score. Northcut knew that TCA could not guard BT man to man so he shortened the game and gave TCA a chance! You don't have to be a genius to figure that one out.

Trader two, when BTW meets a team that is close to their skill level and plays strong fundamental basketball they will BE DONE. This nonsense about a "deal" the ref had is ludicrous. Sheriff you are just searching because you saw a team that was less talented and smaller almost take down a very, very talented team due to better coaching and better fundamentals.

Sorry I didn't update you! I just got into the game and forgot! It was a very good game until last 4 minutes. BT can score fast and in bunches! Gosh they are quick and Newby is unreal!

Perhaps you are right regarding movie! This was biggest win in schools short 25 year history. This will be their first regional finals and first sub state berth. TCA also plays 5 Freshmen off the bench that has really given the team a big lift at times and has a great 8th grade group coming up. MS won the James Haile Invitational State tournament and went 22-2 so the next 4 years should be strong years for TCA! Coach Northcut did an outstanding job coaching tonight!

Truly a "Hoosier" type atmosphere! TCA boys played their hearts out. TCA was smaller and outmanned but never gave up! They will have their hands full against a great BTW club but you never know! Best HS game I have seen in a long time. There should be a movie made from this game!!!! Win or lose on Thursday this has been a Cinderalla season and one that will never be forgotten!

Absolutely agree! NS Coach earned my respect as well! Very, very classy move and that kid will be much better in the years to come for it! Give credit to NS for never giving up.

Westwood played Adamsville tonight not TCA. They won 74-38. TCA beat Memphis Northside 64-49. TCA is a very, very scrappy fundamental team and will give Westwood a run for their money. Don't count TCA or Middleton out yet! Middleton is extremely well coached and a very disciplined team. BTW doesn't need to overlook them!

We played North Parkway 3 times this year. Very physical team that plays hard. Extremely well coached.
