  1. I agree that Amonett Is right up there with Nathan. They both had over 3,000 points in their careers. That puts them side by side. Not many players in the state ever have a 3,000 pt. career. Yes-Amonett was super but he did not get a very good deal @ Wake Forrest, because he did not get to play alot. But, we can not forget about Nathan either. He got a raw deal. His coach was not very supportive of Nathan even going to a 4 year college. Everyone is titled to their own opinion, and I did not mean to offend anyone.
  2. Go back to the photo gallery and look @ some phothos of Ezell-Harding in the state tournament on Mar. 14, 2002. But, do not forget to catch a glimpse of Nathan Aaron. The best that ever came out of PCHS.
  3. Go to the photo gallorie for the Mar. 14, 2001 game of PC and Ezell-Harding. Nathan shooting the buzzer-beater! John was right there too. There are some awesome photos for back then! Not only for PC, but other schools. But..... don't forget to look up Nathan and John!!
  4. Nathan Aaron was the BEST that ever came out of Pickett County!!! He scored over 3,300 points in his HS career! He was the leading scorer that ever came out of PC. John Crouch had over 2,400 points in his HS career (if my memory serves me correctly)!! They played together for PC, with Nathan scoring avg. of 30+ per game, and John 20+ per game! But, we can not forget Joseph Ammonett either. He scored over 3,000 points in his HS career @ PC. They were the true stars that ever came out of PC! I f anyone would like specifics for those days, ask Bobcatfan300. He has the stats. Nathan Aaron was also Valadictorian of his class, that young man had True Class! The Bobcats made it to the state more than once during Nathan and John's career, but they did not bring home the gold. They were fortunate enough to bring it home during Joseph's HS career. We could never forget the best that ever came out of PC! thumb
  5. There are a few that is surprised. But not me. Anything can happen in the state!
  6. Does anyone have any final scores for Temple or Grace games?
  7. Pickett County will take the win.
  8. thumb thumb thumb thumb Go Bobcats!
  9. Not very many. He is much better @ shooting 3 pointers in his own district. He was in foul trouble @ the Temple game also. In which everyone has a bad game sometimes. But, let's not forget when they have a good game! Bailey is averaging more than 33 points per game in the last 4 games in Pickett's district. Let's not forget that he holds the record @ PCHS now for having the most 3 pointers in 1 game. The record was formerly held by Nathan Aaron with 10 three pointers. And now Bailey holds it with 12! thumb
  10. Yes, if I recall correctly Monterey beat Clarkrange this season. And Clarkrange beat Pickett County in their only district loss this year. I would not call this game meaningless. Bailey had 41 points in this game, including 12 three pointers! In which he broke the record held by Natnan Aaron with 10 three pointers in 1 game. Bailey only played approx. 18 out of the 32 min. game, and he did not play any in the 4th quarter.
  11. Way to go Bailey!!! I was mistaken with his score @ being 41 points. Thanks Gomab.
  12. Bailey broke the record that was held by Nathan Aaron, with 10 three pointers. thumb Bailey had 12 three pointers tonight !! They acknowledged him during the game by breaking that record! Way to go Bailey!! thumb
  13. It's Raining Threes! thumb Pickett County's Joseph Bailey had 12 three pointers tonight! He broke the all time record @ Pickett Co. tonight that was held by Nathan Aaron, who had 10 threes in 1 game. thumb Bailey had 9 of those 12 three point shots in the 1st half of the game. He had a total of 41 points in the game tonight against Monterey. He played approx. 18 minutes total in the game, none in the 4th quarter. Congratulations Joseph Bailey!! thumb
  14. It's Raining Threes! thumb Bailey had 12 3-pointers tonight! thumb He broke the record tonight @ Pickett County that was held by Nathan Aaron, who held the record with 10 3- point shots in 1 game. They announced @ the game tonight when Bailey broke the record. He had 41 points tonight in this game against Monterey! He played all of the 1st quarter, 5 and 1/2 minutes the 2nd quarter, and 4 and 1/2 minutes the 3rd quarter, and none in the last quarter. I think he might have the record by having the most 3 pointers in 1/2 of the game. He had 9 three pointers in the 1st half! Way to go Bailey! thumb
  15. I am looking forward to watching him play ball. I think Jacob Wright will dunk a few too. He is about 5'10, but he can jump. Also, both boys need some weight training. But they will become unstoppable.
  16. Bailey had 34 points last night....5 three's. Avg. for last 3 games is 31.7. thumb
  17. Pickett's Saturday night game has been cancelled by E. Roberson H.S.
  18. It is a make-up game @ home against Clarkrange.
