Yeah, it's definitely changed since I made that comment. At first it looked like the warmer weather Wednesday would keep anything from sticking. Not exactly the case now for Murfreesboro. It'll be interesting to see how things go.

Central on top 23-18 at half. Very physical game so far. Refs letting them play.

McMinn Central's press has been stronger in previous years, but it was really on vs Sequoyah Saturday night. Really turned the game in their favor in the second half especially. It should be really good game. Central Magnet should be commended for beating the teams they had to beat to get this far.

As a McMinn Central fan, I hope number 1 that we beat Central Magnet tomorrow and that CPA and Betsy are on one side of the bracket, and we are on the other side! Nothing against Sequoyah (maybe a little) but you can chalk up Cannon County to be there. Wouldn't mind another crack at them!

I was hoping the wink faces after my comment would be enough to let the reader know that it was just in jest. It was just a joke. If I had to be completely honest, I would say that Cannon should be just fine vs Sequoyah. Sequoyah plays hard. They are defensive minded, but 44 is their only big girl that they can rely on. Take it at her. 20 is a great player if she keeps her cool. 31 is a great shooter.
