I would never bet against Franklin! They lost all of their starting pitchers from last year, but their staff should be very underrated nd surprise people this year with Ryne "Watermelon" Key, Bradely "Nitro" Turner, and a young arm in Alex Paul. It will be there hitting though that'll lead them to the district title. Mcpeek, Raley, Bell, and Hutchins. I'm also very excited to see Josh Zarabi play this season in the outfield. Im also very excited to see how Ryan Sain leads their offense as the designated hitter. He hurt his arm in the offseason but should be bak mid season. Overall Franklin, though under a new coach and losing a lot of seniors from last year, will surprise people and end up winning the district. Then I believe Brentwood, with guys like Shelton leading their very talented pitching staff to make it pretty far this year after they returned a lot of juniors. Centennial should end up being third place with players like Bozeman and Brennan in their lineup. I would also like to mention Phillip "Bigleague" Bagsby to a guy to surprise in this district. Fourth will be Ravenwood with their studly player Bryce Denton who will probably end up getting drafted in the top 3 rounds of the MLB draft after his senior season. After that there is no point in talking about the remaining teams. Can't wait for this baseball to start!!
  2. Well its been a while since ive hit up le message boards but if some stuff to say about the mighty Rebels who the Brentwood Bruins barely edged last week. First of all, the rebels should have been undefeated this season. Quarterback Joe Crichlow led the team with 2945 passing yards and 435 yards on the ground. The running game was led by Paul Roher while he rushed for 1857 yards on the ground and 22 touchdowns. The defense was led by senior linebacker Joe Defatta. He was offered a full ride scholorship to Penn States Jerry Sandousky but it was later revoked. Joe stood at 6'6" weighing 236 pounds. He was an absolute nightmare for defenses while racking up 49 tackles on the season and 74 sacks. Rumor has it that because of this amazing perfromance by the rebels that Craig may be out of a job. There are 2 candidates for his spot. The leading Candidate,Randy Noska, is a legend at frankin higshcool for his record braking 2004 season. Randy rushed for over 3000 yards and also claimed the prize for the best looking senior superlative award! he is truly an outstading prospect. Wellph anyways goooo BEARSS there gonna be nunustoppablee!!!
