Hughs is one of the better players ive seen in single in around here lately. I still think i would take conard over him. Def not one of the better teams. Just 2 real good players. i feel like hill is soft and jones is average. 33 dont hurt you but dont give you alot. Hampton just made a few more plays than us...and a few more free throws. free throws cost memphis a national title and they cost us a substate game. they are a big part of the game. we wernt tired, we missed our first 6 attempts. i think it was more nerves than anything. if im a player or the coach of cosby conard touches it every possesion

Your right cloudland didnt screw us. We only played the best team in the region in the second round with the 2 seed two years in a row. I should have used better wording. Cloudland won a district champion ship buddy cosby has district championship trophys hanging in the janitors office. Big deal man. Ill bet you they dont beat hampton thursday blue and gold. ill meet you at the door and bet whatever on that. Crazyness you wanna disect my post like you're a comp professor!? Are you really from Unaka? Your season ended like a week ago man. Its BEEN baseball season in stoney Creek, since last saturday. Why are you still on here??? Are you bitter cuz we sent both of your teams home 2 nights in a row?? Do you wear hampton and cloudland "get up" when your season ends, every year before ours? It must suck. So here's what i say. You get a team and you stick with them. And shut your suck. You probly didnt even play sports. I bet you filmed games when you were in school... About our 06 team. I didnt want to say it bucause i didnt know if the players were reading this. This years team was no where near as good. Our 06 team is probly the best or 2nd best ever at cosby. You could argue Josh webb and Savard they were unreal. but they didnt have the weapons we did. we were better at every position except maybe center and i think that is a push between timmy and conard. But we had blakely who made all state and got region mvp as a soph...on the region runner up team!!!thats unheard of.

I knew hughs was tough but dang. Hes a heady, smart player who gets it done. He had 11 in the first and got 25 on the game. If we get the ball to conard every play like we should he gets 40 instead of 25. I think you all have 2 great players in 5 and 13 but that is it. Absolutely no bench. you might sneak down to the boro with 2 players but i promise you wont win a game. Im not hoping you lose because you all beat us, im not like that. Cloudland screwed us again. We would have beat them to death tonight. hampton and cosby by far the best 2 teams in the region. I cant believe we only hit 2 three's and missed 14 free throws. 14!!! Well i hope they dont get mad at us...That was kind of the plan. i seen hughs sittin down there with his sweats on. we dont really travel that good for girls games tho. Tonight should be a cosby basketball environment! And You mentioned how that Cosby substate was rockin in 06. every substate game is like that at Cosby. You have to get there 2 hours early just to get a seat. And you also asked how this team stacks up to 06. You know im biased and we were ranked number 1 all year. But this team is for real and Conard might be better than Blakely.

Yes i was on that team in 06. We had a very good team. 34-2 but run but into a buzz saw at state. i say arrogant because at this point there are no easy games left. you all act like its gonna be a cakewalk. thats ok though, ive listened to pujo and all you others for years. i wouldnt expect any thing else. i hadnt been on here in forever but i knew you all would be chatty about this game. our district is terrible but we both have 2 teams left apiece. that amazes me to be honest. id say hancock doesnt have much of a chance against the landers. I still feel like a kid, king. too bad i dont live at home still.

I dont need a gps to get to the 'boro ill put it to you like that. We had 2 state runner up's in a row, thats more than Hampton can say since ward and hughs have been alive. We have had 5 all state basketball players The last 10 years. Make that 6 if conard doesnt get snubbed. Hughs and Ward and 2 really good players and i respect the job they have done. Its just awful arrogant to get on here and guarantee a district 1 championship rematch. 9 times out of 10 we have the bullseye on our back. I kind of like how you all are the favorites. People in Carter county think the sun sets on all their sports teams. They think theyre sooo good in every sport. You people (mainly from Hampton) talk $%^& on here about how good your teams are. Well i promise Cosby wont be scared come tuesday. Cosby has way more basketball tradition that your Bulldogs and thats not even questionable. We have the better coach and we have a group who knows how to play and they know how to win and i assure you that you all have no answer for Corey Conard. And when you pack it in on him its bombs away. If we shoot DECENT we blow Unaka out of the gym. We only hit 3 three's and Corey had a bad game and scored he still 21. Our people around here dont wish for wins, they are expected. And it will be no different come this tuesday at 7:45. Dont bash our schedule. We played jeff county seymour gibbs pigeon forge twice and two teams from middle tennessee in which we had no idea what they had or how good they were.
