kjfan - i guess connell is due now, since stark has beaten him 2x this year?
  3. RMC is correct - 2001 mccallie inv 112 semifinal: leen p silberman 5:35

  5. well mjbear, pack will have a chance to prove you right this weekend. he is seeded 1st at brentwood and should face both donahue and boss. wins there could get him back up into the rankings. it looks like he dropped off the rankings when he lost to byrd in december.
  6. regarding the ryan results, in rob's defense, he does state at the top of his rankings for this week: "If you want complete results of the Father Ryan Tournament, the brackets are available on the school˜s web site, www.fatherryan.org. We will not re-invent the wheel here by going over every result. Our rankings will reflect those results, however. "
  7. comparing silverbullet's div I with tn best there are a lot of similarities, but the 160 class was quite different (other than the obvious top dog). 160 tn best: 1 gibson(bradley) 2 beasley(harpeth) 3 donahue(clarksville) 4 byrd(mlk) 5 cook(grundy) 6 thomason(maryville) silverbullet: 1 gibson(bradley) 2 orr(kirby) 3 thomason(maryville) 4 donahue(clarksville) 5 knox(farragut) 6 boss(tullahomah) what support is there for any of the rankings?
  8. rob's new tennessee best weekly is up on www.tennwrestling.com.

  11. i don't know much, but the ones i do know about look as good as can be speculated at this point. hwt. parks harding(ER) has been released by the dr. to start working out this week, so he should earn a spot back on your list shortly. thanks for your time in doing this!
  12. Looks like Stark (Father Ryan) is now the man to beat in division ii. He beat Connell at both the McCallie and F.Ryan tourneys.
  13. since all we can do is pretend, here is a suggested lineup for Bradley v McCallie [i'm quoting a friend]: 103 Blake Tinsley - Michael White White beats Tinsley because White beat Coleman and Coleman has beaten Tinsley every time. Very close match. McCallie 3-0 112 Nick Ballard - Madison Roberts Not sure but would have to go with Roberts. MC 6-0 119 Shawn Cordell - Cody Cleveland I think Cody might beat him now but Cordell has won every time with him. MC 6 BR 3 125 Mark Fuller - Jack Silberman Silberman wins by major MC 10-3 130 Jake West - Andrew Smith Great Match West wins by decision MC 10-6 135 Billy Herbold - Spencer Manley Manley wins by pin MC 16-6 140 Michael Creagan - Justin Blair Cregan wins MC 16-9 145 Matt Spain - Ryan Scott Scott wins by pin MC 22-9 152 Dustin Catlett - Lee Connell Great Match but have to go with Catlett MC 22-12 160 Quinn Gibson - Steven Leavitt Gibson wins by pin 22-18 171 Bryant Blackmon - Garrett Vatt Blackmon wins by pin BR 24-22 189 Josh Cooper - Flynt Rudolph Rudolph wins by pin MC 28-24 215 Matt Bailey - Green / Hutchinson Bailey wins by pin BR 30-28 275 Shaun Grady - Hutchinson / Martin Bradley wins by pin BR 36-28 There would be some key matches that could swing the match by 15 or could make McCallie win. Its tough that we cant watch this. After watching Father Ryan, they might beat McCallie in the duals and traditional. [what do you think?]

  17. i believe that he is waiting until this coming week.
  18. Crosby won the McCallie Inv today and won Knox Catholic a few weeks ago. He is the defending state champ. He beat both Pennington and Brugal when it counted last year.
  19. seeing as how both lost by 2 points in the championship bracket to the same wrestler (Thomas Knapp CH), it would appear that they should give each other a close match. but then in consolation, dunning did defeat the ringgold wrestler that beat manson, so i'd have to agree at this point that dunning is stronger.
  20. yes, the on-line brackets are only complete thru the championship semi's and consolation qtr's at this time. no, i don't have much more info (sorry). i got too excited over a match i was related to. this is what i do have: 103 Prater(McE) d Knapp(CH) 10-7 - 1st Dunning(Ryan) over Goins(Ring) - 3rd Manson(Bay) over Alsobrook(CB) - 5th 112 Hiller(Ryan) d Simpson(MBA) 4-1 - 1st Garner(WA) over Gooden(RB) - 3rd Fuller(SD) over Roberts(Ring) - 5th 119 Leen(Bay) d James(SD) 3-0 - 1st Parker(CH) over Cleveland(McC) - 3rd Johnson(McE) over Howell(West) - 5th 125 Silberman(McC) d Newsome(McE) 8-2 - 1st Bird(ER) d ? 12-6 - 3rd 130 Dunning(Ryan) md Smith(McC) 8-0 - 1st Furman(RB) over ? - 3rd 135 Lane(SD) over Gooden(RB) - 1st Manley(McC) d Lukacs(CH) 8-5 - 3rd 140 ? - 1st Myers(Ryan) over Wright(ER) - 3rd 145 Scott(McC) over Marable(CB) - 1st 152 Jeffers(ER) d Leet(West) 3-1 OT - 1st 160 Blankenship(Ring) over Slusher(CH) - 1st 171 Flinn(Ring) over Marable(CB) - 1st 189 ? 215 Crawford(Ring) p Williams(MBA) - 1st 275 Crosby(Green) d Tiller(CH) 2-1 DOT - 1st
  21. 1 McEachern 2 Father Ryan (5 or 6 points behind) 3 Collins Hill & McCallie 5 Ringgold 6 Soddy 7 MBA 8 Westminster 9 East Ridge 10 Red Bank 11 Baylor ... Most Pins - Andrew Crawford(Ringgold) Best Match - 125 finals: Silberman(McC) d Newsome(McE) Best Wrestler - Raymond Dunning(Ryan) the brackets on line are complete except for the finals. surprises (or not) - all georgia finals at 103 (McEachern d Collins Hill) - where were manson, white and dunning? 119 - james almost didn't make the finals, winning the semi in double OT (good tough match in the finals, tho) 125 - mat bird (with only one hannd) came within a point of silberman in the semi's 135 - lane beat manley and gooden on the way to 1st 145 - scott over marable in the finals 152 - 4th seed jeffers(ER) won, upsetting connell(who ended up 6th!) in the semi's 160 & 171 - ringgold's blankenship & flinn (of course) 275 - crosby had to go to double overtime to win and almost lost it at the end of regulation on a missed shot - against tiller(collins hill)

    James vs. Leen

leen d james 3-0 in the finals at mccallie today. james just couldn't score on him.
  23. direct link to the McCallie Brackets
  24. if it so important for the wrestlers to hear their coaches, then we shouldn't have fans either. they make a ton more noise than the cheerleaders.
