final ER 38 - Mc 37
ER was deducted a team point for unsportmanlike conduct after the 103 match.
it was an exciting ending. there was some confusion over the tie breaker criteria - some thinking that most pins was the first criteria, which would have meant that mccallie needed a pin in the final match to win by 1. but the first criteria is unsportsmanlike points, which meant that mccallie could have also won by a tech fall (tie). as you see, silberman fell just short of the TF. he held a 14-1 lead at the end but was unable to get wright on his back again, so he released him.
just out of curiosity: without the penalty point, who would have won if it were tied by a silberman pin? both teams would have had 6 pins.
