Well, maybe one more before bed. How about adding this one to the job descriptions for Rhea County coaches? Must present DNA sample to prove American citizenship.

If they are smart they will also escape as soon as possible. I do hate it for the kids, but at some point Rhea County people have got to figure out what is going on with Rhea County athletics and why coaches do not want to stick around. The new coaches have seen what happens to the coaches who are committed to stay in Rhea County. The longer you stay, the greater the abuse. A good example is when Jason Fitzgerald was asked to step aside to bring back Hammontree. Hammontree did not help the program. He made public statements that were an embarassment to the county. Then Fitz had to come back and work to undo the damage. Now you have loud mouths like UnSilent who criticize Fitz for applying for other jobs. Hello? Fitz has been very loyal to Rhea County for many years but the Rhea County administration was not loyal to him. Rhea County is no place for a coach who wants a long term situation. It will be interesting to see who jumps ship next year. I have written down my predictions. One is likely to suprise Unsilent. Just look at how many jumped ship this week.

I don't understand why you guys are not putting UnSilent Majority's name out there for Head Coach.

I do have one last comment for UnSilent Majority for the evening. He is so thrilled about the appearance of the area outside the baseball stadium (which the school agreed to pay to maintain this year in order to get someone to take Caldwell's job cause they had no applicants foolish enough to meet the job description given to Caldwell) that I think he should approach the Rhea County School Board and insist they make Decorating a part of any Rhea County coaching job descriptions. I can see it now. "Wanted - Baseball Coach. Must be proficient in decorating school grounds that lie within 1/2 mile of the baseball field. Minor in Color Theory a plus." We could also address Unsilent's concerns that Coach Cameron does not have a college degree. How about "Wanted Offensive Coordinator. Must be willing to carry his college degree on his person at all times (photo id also required.)" Last, but not least, "All Rhea County coaches must submit game plans to Unsilent Majority at least 24 hours prior to game time." That should take care of all of UnSilent Majority's valid concerns. LOL.

That's what happens when Truth confronts Lie. Truth will prevail over time. Coach Caldwell is generous to his replacement, which is deserved, but I think his replacement should stand up and explain to his groupie, UnSilent, what the real deal was and is. Coach Kinney owes Coach Caldwell that much.

Thanks for the report, Coach Caldwell. My Sunday School teacher always says, "Right will prevail and wrong will fail." Some of the so-called Rhea County Christians should think about that. Certainly, Unsilent should think about it.If Unsilent is a Rhea County supporter I would hate to see what a Rhea County enemy looks like.

I think message boards like this one are good, but when people use them to slander innocent people that is just going too far. It's fine to disagree with coaches strategies but these unfounded personal attacks are a bad thing. I hope Unsilent Majority makes himself known. I would like to see him prove some of his accusations in court. He is stepping way over the line but must not have enough brains to know it.

Thanks, Coach Caldwell. You have more guts and truth than Unsilent and the Rhea County aministration combined. You did more kids in your time there than any number of coaches who come through and leave the first time they get a chance. That is my definition of dedication. Thanks too for sticking up for Coach Cameron, a fine man who loves the kids.The yoyo making these unfounded claims should either step up and tell us who he is, or stick to the facts, or shut up. You or Coach Cameron must have cut his kid or cut his PT.Or he's kin to his favorite coach. Or maybe he is in love with his favorite coach.

Unsilent appears to have some kind of agenda that has nothing to do with helping Rhea County athletes. He is very poorly informed about a ton of issues and should be ashamed of the accusations he makes while hidden from view. I would like to see this guy walk up to some of the coaches he has trashed and say those things to their face. Then, we could sell tickets to that event and fund the entire Rhea County athetic program. Shucks, I'll buy a block of tickets. One thing that was not mentioned about Wes Caldwell was the fact that he bought the Gator for the baseball field out of his own money. When he was dismissed the school ended up buying their own gator,also adding the cost of field maintenance, outside the field maintenace, you name it. It's hard to know the facts and have to listen to some idiot like Unsilent run his big mouth about a coach that is not even there anymore. When you think about, several of the coaches this chicken bashes online are now gone. So what is he so mad about? He is either very uninformed or he is lying.

I'm not criticizing your favorite coach. I have no problem with him. I am criticizing the Rhea County administration. I will leave the coach bashing to you. You are really good at trashing coaches, making personal attacks on them, and making slanderous statements. Your job as official coach trasher is safe. You've set the bar so low that most people won't be able to squeeze under it.

Let me repeat an earlier post - why would any sane person want to coach at Rhea County with the current administration? They ran off a good softball coach last year and word has it she was not rehired cause she did not play the principal's neices. Her replacement just quit, which shows she is smart enough to get out. They ran off a baseball coach that built a program out of nothing, and they refused to help him with anything but turned around and gave his replacement everything he asked for. They made life miserable for the football staff, which is why they quit. Replacing these coaches is not a problem. Tell Levengood and Messemer to coach the teams. This is their problem. They caused it.

If Rhea County was very committed to having a quality football team they would have found some way to work with a coach that was probably overqualified for the job to begin with - Jason Fitzgerald.

Glad to see a hometown boy get a chance. Maybe things will finally settle down after more coaching changes than I can keep up. Then Meigs can sit back and watch Rhea County pass them up in the coach revolving door contest. You do have to wonder about the administration at both schools.

Let me add this - his staff was poorly treated too. Rhea County better find some way to hang on to the track coach cause he is about the only dedicated coach left there.
