It happened in Waverly this year also, the football team threw a playoff game. Some of the basketball players came out for the football team this past fall and were difference makers. The basketball coach told the 4 or 5 basketball players that were on the football team that it was time to play basketball and they threw the game and were at basketball practice on Monday.

The coaches should be banned from coaching high school sports for life.

The teams shouldn't be penalized but the 2 coaches should be banned from coaching high school ball for life.

Really because most pitchers go to a pitching coach.

All depends on where you are. We have some good coaches and players in our district.

After all the stuff I've heard about the Forrest coach this week I hate that they beat NCS. In the game game against NC the lights went out while NCS was hitting and then somebody in the crowd just happened to have some breakers in the crowd to replace before Forrest's turn to bat. Then she called the Houston County coach and told her TSSAA said they had to play on Tuesday night because of weather and that was a lie. Looks like they are doing anything they can to throw other teams off.

We may not beat Moore Co but I hope we do and I hope Forrest beats Nashville Christian like a drum.

Houston pretty much proved itself after this weekend but I don't think NCS will go very far.

Not Competitive? If you know so much you would have known I meant Waverly , Montgomery Central and others close to us there Vandy.

if we are on here we pretty much know that district games are set and you have to play them but i am talking about non district games. And stewart county only hung in there for a little while. I don't think Stewart Co. can do anything with Houston Co but who knows. As for some of the teams you named sbove they are not very competitive this year. You need to play those bigger, better and faster teams to make your team player harder and for the end result.

No doubt they are legit I just think they need to challenged. They haven't played any serious teams since the season started. Stewart Co gave them a decent run for half of the game and we still won by at least 20. Region would be Forrest, Cascade or Moore co.

Nobody knows just how good Houston Co really is because they haven't played anybody yet. You would think the coaches would have scheduled a few good teams out of district so they would at least have to play hard to win. As close as we are to Clarksville and Dickson there are lots of bigger teams that we could play. And as for whitehouse heritage our girls would wipe the floor with theirs.

Congratulations to Jo Byrns on beating the bought team hopefully they can beat the work study team next week.

Houston Co had two starters quit this week for some unknown reason. I guess they just weren't tough enough or didn't love the game. But why in the heck do we not have the best 11 players on the field at all times. Our offensive line for 2 weeks in a row has suffered. I have stood on the fence and watched better blockers stand on the sideline. Just wondering.

We'll Houston Co got beat by another bought team tonight. Clarksville Academy 35 HC 7 with 5:49 left in the 4th.

By far NC's team is by far the best I've seen play this season so far and from talking to our players they have great attitudes and sportsmanship also. The fact still remains you can recruit and we can't so you should be in the private sector. And for you cowboy mom ncdad and gorin you have showed you true colors by the comments you made I only said your team was bought.

That's great you want be private then go to the private division. Oh no you still want to hang out with us low life public schools.

Whatever. Keep telling yourselves there at NC whatever you want. Here at HC we have to play with what we have. If you dont help players financially its still called recruiting.

No I meant bought! I'm not a hater. NC has a great team but all those kids didn't just show up at NC's doors and say I'm here to play for your team that played average in the last few years. I'm sure NC's BOUGHT team will have no problem with the rest of the district. Don't get me wrong if one day my son is good enough to be noticed I will shop for the best team and offers also. My point is that public and private schools should not be in the same district. Public schools have a big disadvantage in regard to enticing athletes and not just with monetary means. I'm not being disrespectful to the team or players from what I saw and heard from the HC players these NC players had more sportsmanship and better attitude than in years past and they have many exceptional athletes just knocking the system that TSSAA has in place.
