I agree. Seth's 39 points at CPA was extremely impressive. 12 3's on the other hand, is also pretty impressive, regardless of who you are playing.

Boyd Played great. They tookit to TEMPLE early. Coach Brown had a good game plan and Boyd executed it. The officials were BAD!! They called 56 fouls and both teams shot a total of 60 free throws. Temple's experience and speed won the 2nd half. Zach Mouw of Temple had 26 points and 15 rebounds. Great Job #00. Caleb Skogen finished with 24 points. Congrats goes to the Crusaders who won the district title this year. Good luck the rest of the way. thumb

Pickett will probably bring a good sized crowd. I cannot wait to see this one. I am really looking forward to seeing this Baxter kid that I have heard so much about. I haven't seen him play since he was a seventh grader on Temple's middle school B Team. If he is as unstoppable now as he was then, he is going to put on a show tonight.

Who do they have coming off of the bench that is such a "baller"? Maybe I have just missed them at the games I have been to.

If you have ever seen Joey bowl, you would know exactly what I am talking about. He probably could bowl at the D-I level if he wanted to. As for the game, Temple played very much as individuals against CCS and not as a team. When they play as a team, they are very good, but I did not see that against CCS. Valley will be ready to play, and I'm not so sure Temple will be. They need to focus on this game and stop worrying about Pickett County. Who are they going to put on Hawkins and Brewer? (I am not saying that they have no one who can guard these guys; I am merely asking who will.)

I agree, being from a Christian school means very little these days. Come to some of these "Christian" school's games, and you will see exactly what I am talking about. The only difference between these games and what goes on at public schools is probably the prayer before the game. This is incredibly sad, but it is also very true.

Well, why didn't Temple play teams like Bradley or Redbank or Soddy Daisy or Ringgold? If they are the best team in the city, wouldn't they want to prove it by playing the bigger, better schools? I admit, you could tell that he didn't know what he was talking about when he was making statements about Temple basketball. He said Temple had no D-I players, yet Temple has already had one player, Caleb Skogen, sign to play at Mercer. I merely wanted to see if there was any truth to the statement that Temple was afraid to play the big boys. Stump repeatedly referred to Temple's state championship teams, how they played Brainerd and Bradley, yet this Temple team is not going to play either. He said that he seriously doubts that the bigger schools coaches would refuse to play the Crusaders. The fat guy, though, probably has no idea what he is talking about. With only about 60-70 boys in the entire high school, Temple is probably a lose-lose situation for the bigger schools to play. If you beat Temple, you are supposed to. If they play you close, everyone thinks you maybe aren't as good as they once thought. If you lose to Temple, everyone wants to know what is going on.
