  1. Perhaps, but as we all know numbers are only a portion of what a quality QB is rated on. Size, speed, versatility, leadership, composure, etc... all play into it. From my perspective on the teams and their performance, they did a very good job on their picks..
  2. Some things aren't meant to be laughed at. There is plenty of room to "join the crowd" if that's what you want though.
  3. Only the coaches "understand" and make the decisions best for the team. You can sit back and throw the players under the bus if it makes you feel better, but at the end of the day, that is why you are watching from the stands. Coaches coach,, critics watch.
  4. I think McCallie has a really good shot at winning this game. To me the issue will be the travel, how will that drive wear on the team? An experienced coach will have that issue figured out and have his team ready to go. Prediction: The Blue Tornado comes home with the W. McCallie - 27 MUS - 17
  5. On topic: MBA 28 B 27 I think MBA will have a tough time running their current, one dimensional offense. Baylor will stop all that QB running. I see a QB change at half and opening it up to move the ball downfield. The D looks healthy, except for a few who are playing on guts and determination and will hold the line until the calvary (passing attack) shows up in Q4. I am liking MBA 28 Baylor 24, with MBA scoring on the final drive. That would make for a sweet ride home. I think that MBA has more weapons on offense then ever before. The "one dimensional" you refer to about the current scheme must mean "it scores"! Offense will not be the issue in this game, it will come down to defense, can we stop the big plays. The Big Red has done very well recently. It could have easily had a few shutouts but let the bench get some reps. IMO I see a hard fought game with an "inspired" MBA squad coming out on top. MBA 28 Baylor 17
  6. What game did you see? Perhaps you should refresh yourself with the stats (they are in the paper). It WAS a great game to watch. I am not sure what BIG McCallie mistakes you are referring to, other than the missed field goal. It was MBA mistakes that kept this game from blowing wide open. A questionable "roughing the passer" on third and long kept a McCallie drive alive that eventually scored. A fumble on the McCallie 5 yard line after a great series kept 7 off the board for the Big Red, add two more turnovers and you can see how the MBA mistakes added up. I am not even going to mention the seamingly endless drive killing penalties. IMO this game should not have been close, the MBA talent is there and was shown last night. McCallie is a great place to play, classy coaches and players, great fans, and top notch facilities. Congratulations on coming home with the Win.
  7. MBA Football player absolutely not. Ex-coach with time on hand ,,,,,,, probably.
  8. BRG13 you are obviously NOT a player on MBA's football team. That was made very clear last week when you posted DURING MBA's spring practice. You demean the team with your slander. Your motives are to stir up trouble and bash the MBA administration behind the guise of a football player. You have zero credibility and are one of the reasons folks don't spend much time on these forums anymore. I am sure you will spin up a new screen name, or pick one of the other dozen or so you use to lash out. Eventually though, you will mess up again. It has got to be really hard to keep up with so many lies?
  9. Decided to skip practice and bash on a blog this morning huh? BGA is being thorough and has a ton of interested candidates.
  10. I completely agree GreenHornet. MBA football needs a coach with Integrity, something the former coach couldn't even spell. Under the leadership of Marty, the exceptional staff of coaches will be able to finally do their job. MBA Football is back on the right track.
