Speaking on last week the Jackets *As i predicted all week and got bashed* couldnt run past Henry db's ALL NIGHT LONG! The Jackets out rushed Henry and won the turnover battle, take away that big throw on the first possession when our backup safety was in because #7 had yet to enter the game, Henry really did nothing to wow you. Jackets just killed themselves in the first half. Henry as always a Good discipline football team that i pray we see again! I've seen a few Munford games... They can't keep up....... On the subject of Beech.... Crenshaw killed them last year with his legs and we did very little passing in the game which kept the game close 14-0 when it could have easily been more before Beech coaches realized they could just power I it down our throat. If the Jackets can manage the Henry rushing attack behind that wall of a OL, they can very well manage against this bunch. Jackets have to start fast, spread the ball around to our athletes and don't make stupid turnovers and the result leaving Hendersonville Friday night may surprise you all........

Beech will not score over 28... Let's not just disrespect this Springfield team now. My eyes go to that Summitt game and seeing what they did to neutralize the beech attack, this Springfield defense is much better than that of Summitt and our offense will have a good night. I believe this game will shock a few people....

Your down right crazy if you don't think the Jackets will be coming to Shackle Island looking for a win! Also your smoking crack if you think Overton or McGavock could beat this Beech team. It's actually comical. If im the Jackets I'm coming out and throwing it all around the park!!! If we try and make this a running contest we will be on the wrong end of a whooping.

Just how the Henry faithful say don't judge them giving up 14 first half points to 2-4 Kenwood.... I wouldn't judge the Jackets for putting up 32 on Rossview without there 2 starting RB's and leading receiver....

Just Curious What games are you watching? I believe this is the best throwing QB we've had in a long time, Better defensively and way more weapons offensively. In both 17 & 19 you could key 2 guys and beat us, not the case this season. Were very very deep at the skill position, most teams lose there 2 starting RB's and starting safety and leading receiver like we did last week they lose. This group of seniors have been playing together since 5&6 peewee ball, just overall more chemistry and belief in each other. I'm excited to see them get tested tomorrow night.

That was good ole fashion whooping. This year's team is the best in recent history. Better than 2017 & 2019... Excited to see how they do tomorrow night.

Agree with you, Henry is more physical at the line of scrimmage as they always are. But i honestly don't think there secondary can run with our wide outs. You can see at times there secondary losses guys and against Kenwood #1 couldn't keep up with the athleticism of there shifty guy. Got shook so bad he fell one time and the other a miss by him ended up in a reverse field 60 yard touchdown by Kenwood. But of course none of that matters if the QB doesn't have time.

IMO Jackets have the best passing game they've had since 2010... Plenty of receivers and a QB who can put it anywhere on the field. 2 of our top pass catchers this season didn't play against Henry either time last year. Henry does what they do, if the Jackets can slow down there run and put them in obvious passing situations (3&7+) the Jackets may surprise some with the outcome. Henry cant keep up with the Jackets in the air. But this is all IF'S! they have to line up and play @7 on Friday.

We missed 2 big passing plays in Paris last year and the bubble screens on the first drive in the playoffs was our only successful plays before we started shooting ourselves in the foot. Would love to see them let Crenshaw loose and show off his arm and legs!

Yep we didn't help ourselves at all that night. I'm excited for this one!!!
