Bolivar will match up with Crockett in size, actually they are bigger. Crockett is much more experienced though and should win 28-14. I don't know about a State Championship but a District title is obtainable.

Guys settle down, I'm here and will be here for the season. I still hold to everything I've said, JCM will be fine, just fine tuning needed for the QB. If you noticed we did everything simple, after all guys jamborees don't count last time I checked. That sloppy play will probably be the last, you saw how the QB started to get confidence and timing with the backs as the jamboree came to an end. That's how JCM approached it, no more than a glorified scrimmage. How many times did JCM throw deep? None, exactly because they weren't trying to show everything, but Friday night the whole arsenal will be on display when "The Show" take the field, bet that.

4-2 Martin run game was good except for two fumbles, backs were breaking runs, a couple blown blocking assignments led to penetration that caused fumbles Pass attack was average at best with receivers dropping 2 sure touchdowns D-line took a step backwards yesterday with below average play JCM came off the bus and straight to the field with little warm up. Just were not themselves but credit to Martin who weren't a great team but very polished on assignments and decent size. Back to the lab for adjustments, that's what scrimmages are for though. Coach said he wanted to concentrate on who he could depend on and quality back ups and new plays introduced into offense. Guess they need more work. JCM will be ready for Dyersburg on the 23rd though.

I'll be the first to say JCM scrimmaged Martin Westview at UTM today and found out all the wheels aren't quite rolling. More grease is needed. Both teams will have to correct faults so the 23rd is getting more interesting. You see guys I'm not as one sided as you think, I report the facts.

I didn't see the game in person but have seen the film. All I can say is Trezevant was just throwing backyard bombs, whereas JCM have a crisp passing attack and awesome run attack this year, pick your poison. I will let you know how the scrimmage turn out against Martin Westview today at UTM. They are Preseason 3A ranked 6 or 7th in the state. JCM will familiarize themselves with turf today. Come up and watch at 4:45 Only BS is my Bachelor's Degree.

Well that makes 2 fired up teams, do you not think the trash being posted on here by you and others, is not on JCM board. They are chomping at the bit to get over there. The pressure will be all on Dyersburg. New turf, the whole town watching, JCM not bringing a "scrub" team to town, trash talking, and you may lose the game....what will all the boosters think, what will the parents think, what will the town think, all that money means high expectations. JCM has no worries cause they started from the bottom and now they are here. When Dyersburg fall behind, the doubt will creep in and JCM will not back off. Put that on your board and play with anger, God have mercy on you cause JCM wil not.

Oh getting kind of touchy. I'm not a student, just a fan that will not let people like you try and down schools like JCM. Schools that get a bad rap, when people don't really know the character and hard work these kids put into it. Memphis Trezevant totally out ran, out hit , out everything a Dyersburg team in the playoffs last year. Dyersburg was a fast team themselves last year. This year not so fast and JCM is the same kind of team Trezevant was last year, but have a way better passing game, Playing on turf won't help Dyersburg but JCM speed will be too much for the Trojans. That just shows that you have no idea of West Tennessee Football. Why do you post if you are no sense of football? Terrance Kinnie was only a dynamic playmaker at quarterback last year, 3 year starter, and oh by the way West Tennessee Sophmore of the Year by Jackson Sun. Mr. dhstennis are you saying the boys at JCM don't care about their school work? You say you don't know a single Dyersburg player, the proof is all in your name....dhstennis- probably dyersburg high school tennis, oh you are the the coach for a minor sport. Well, I'm not going to lie and say JCM don't know your players, in fact they know everything about them. Tell number 8 that the Defense for JCM love to chop down the big trees and number 7, it's going to be physical.

People are sick and tired of the so called "know it all" posters(BigPurpleMachine and dhstennis and others) giving their opinion and downplaying others who have just as much insight. Stop going on the past, it's what you do today that counts in sports. These kids can't tell you who won State 15 years ago. The trophies collect dust, get up and prove your worth each year. Please don't take this personal, just fun and games.

You don't have to drink the koolaid yet BigPurple. As far as last year, with the scheme JCM ran, when QB Terrance Kinnie got injured late in the season that caused defenses to basically prey on Clark and the running game. Backup QB Josh Waters was not the run threat from that position as T. Kinnie was. But this is a new year and everyone is 100%. Defense is definitely better to match the offensive fire power. "The Show" (nickname for JCM football) will be performing at a town in your vicinity this year, so come out and see for yourself why the hype is so high at JCM. Then not only will you drink the koolaid, it will be forced down your throat. Take all this in good fun, please.

Hey as a sportsman I can accept your opinion of things but we can't fault JCM for being explosive and scoring on big runs. That's a great problem to have. Of course this was their first scrimmage since spring practice and there are a few kinks to be worked out. JCM is definitely going to be one of the top teams in West Tn this year, though.
