Being very close to the Polk County program I can assure you there is nothing but respect for the CAK Warriors. Last years game was one heck of a game. The game will be close Coach Davis and his defense will be strong as usual and the offense will try to keep long drives, chewing up the clock. If you notice that is simple and the same thing you always see its because it is. The hard hitting will be there from both teams the hits last year were great physical football. CAK may be to much offense for Polk to handle I hope I am wrong though.

Polk will not overlook Sequoyah. They have turned into the biggest game in the district the past few years for some unknown reason. They haven't scored on us in what 4 or 5 years? Polk wins easily hopefully more than needed just to remind the Chiefs where they stand in the district

Signal could not stop the run against Polk definitely would stand no chance at stopping it against Greeneville. Signals offense is good but again has seen nothing like Greeneville. Greeneville wins by 3 TD's

How do all of the Signal fans still refuse to believe that someone knew the kid was ineligible? It is crazy, continuing to reading posts about nobody knowing. Wow. I feel for the kid but why can't you just play by the rules like most other schools? Somebody knew quit denying it!

I agree I am saying that cussing happens cussing at a kid is a different story. I do not think it is acceptable to be repeatedly cussed by a coach but once or twice every now and then so be it. I didn't say it made him a "good" coach but now it is nearly impossible to find someone that does not cuss, coaches get frustrated and cuss it happens. Players definitely cuss much much more almost every player will cuss frequently with the exception of a very few.

Thank you canadian. If you are worried about your child hearing a cuss word from a coach you might as well take him out of all sports and never worry about him playing in college. You're questioning his character because the man cusses? Really? Maybe that is where the problems lie, parents not making their children mentally strong enough to handle actual coaching.

What are you looking for a Coach to say here? Competitive coaches would agree with him how are you not embarrassed by that score though? I would be as a fan, coach, player, or any other person that had anything to do with Central football. Come on cussing really? If you don't want your child to hear cussing take him out of school and don't let him have friends. I can guarantee he doesn't cuss as much as 90% of the students at Central. The problem lies with no talent. No matter what kind of coach you are if you don't have a couple of athletes then it doesn't matter who you are you can't win.

It is just a bad idea, he is not a head coach, he is not even a good assistant coach actually. All around a bad idea.

Why would you put this? Central may be improved but even with Polk being a little down at the moment they are still better than Central. 5AA football is a joke this season it is really a bad district. Polk will win it easily and be out in the first round of the playoffs as will anyone else that makes it out of the district. With that Polk wins by 3 or 4 touchdowns.

If this is true expect more bad teams from Walker Valley then.

That is not saying a whole lot. Agreeing with Flint here Polk comes out angry and wins pretty big. Polk has had two tough losses against two good teams. Polk is unhappy and if I know Coach Davis he will have them ready for this game, especially it being Central and coming off the losses.

Polk wins by two or three touchdowns. Central is improved but still cant hold Polk down especially with Polk having something to prove this week.

Only one person said they will be better. Soooooooooo very wrong is incorrect the linebackers are not as bad off as other positions. The team lacks speed and with a team such as Bradley one thing that is a must is enough speed to cause disruptions, which this years team lacked in all positions NOT just LB. You can see the selfishness in this post its all about one player that has been dropped this is a TEAM sport it would benefit you greatly to learn that! It was apparent the better team won yesterday and the lesser TEAM lost. Bradley is much improved congrats and good luck to you in the rest of the season next week will you where you really stand though GOOD LUCK!!

I think his reputation for being such a great player on the field was almost ruined to some people especially teammates after the off field incidents. It is possible his teammates looked at his play differently after them and saw him through a whole new light. The kid played hard no doubt but he should have handled some things differently than what they did. On field achievements are affected by off the field incidents this is what seems to have happened.

Nobody in the district can play with Polk, it is not going to happen. Polk probably mercy rules everyone in district play.

Hargrove was very good defensively agreed, but there were a few off field occurrences that should not have happened from what I hear foolish things that had no reason for happening, childish even. Saying Hargrove is better defensively than Couch is a very bold statement, Couch was on his own level defensively. Hargrove could have possibly been the second best defensive player on the team IMO, put Allen at LB and see what happens with him there he was definitely built more like a LB than a safety. Didn't Allen play a little LB his freshman year at the end of the season?

Agreed cannot look into this one at all Howard is way way down this year. Polk will get a real look when Loudon goes down to Benton Thursday, always a hard hitting game.

Hargrove will be missed, just not as much as Allen just because Allen understood the system a little better than Hargrove. Miller will be a great fit to replace Hargrove at LB, Akins will also be a great fit to replace Allen. Polk will be good this year as always but as always too it will be second round and done. Great regular season I say 8-2 maybe 9-1 losing to Bradley and possibly a slip up somewhere probably SM maybe SP.
