  1. Okay same ole lake co fan talk, I hope that lake co and greenfield can live up to your talk. Seems lie you have more confidence in greenfield then greenfield fans. Unless lake co got some new players to move in you lost all of your rebounding and playmaking. Yes the Reedy girl is a senior this year and like I asked you before what team returns more then UC. South Fulton will beat lake co and greenfield. They beat greenfield last year. Might as well get used to losing unless you got another TT around there. UC is young with only one senior.
  2. Some of the comments made on here are ridiculous, but this one takes the cake. Give me one team in 14A that has more returning then Union City?
  3. Well it looks like UC and Red Boiling Springs will play Saturday @ MTCS Playday. I guess UC will be dominated since they aren't good enough to play on the state level. Very interested to see the outcome of this, ironic that comments made by u previously and now these two teams are going to play. Will be finding out the results.
  4. It's about that time just weeks from the first tip off, looking for the Lady T's to have a great year. Good look to everyone.
  5. Don't worry you will get your chance, Now if the results aren't what you are looking for then what will be your response. I was simply stating UC still should have the best team in 14A from top to bottom. We still have Jackie Hudson, and Torry Reedy and Carnation Hart is no longer in the paint to cause problems for Hudson. So the point I am trying to make this, with Fair out there aren't any players in the district that will require special attention. The sum of the parts in UC make up the best complete team in the district and even the region for that matter.
  6. I've silent for quite a while now and let's just put a cap on all the Amber Fair discussions. She will play this season and a lot sooner then a lot of y'all would like. I understand that this group of Lake Co. Lady Falcons beat UC when they were in middle school but this isn't the same UC team. With the additions that have been made to that middle school team "if we are all being honest" no one wants to face UC right now without Amber Fair. Lastly, when Amber comes back the players that have been playing without her will have all the confidence they need and buddy " look out "
  7. Who are your top teams in A basketball?
  8. What school are u talking about?
  9. Now I am scared, I never thought that mrbigster would ever say something positive about Union City. I think UC is in position to make another run to the Boro, as long as everyone stays healthy and focused the sky is the limit for these girls. Wow this made my head spin a bit, talk to Greenfield fan and Swanson71 they are really tripping.
  10. Well Jackson Co. was the only team in the state tourney last year the had the personnel the give UC the problems they did. No other A team was put together like they were. The match up caused real problems. They had size to go with shooting. The rest of the teams didn't have that. What you saw was the worst possible match up for Union City coupled with UC shooting the worst it had shot since the Dresden game early in the season. You might be one of the few people in the state that thinks UC can’t compete on the state level, no doubt many others are expect to see them at the State tourney this year and would be shocked if they don't make it. Ms. Fair makes UC a great team the team has all the pieces it needs except for a knock down shooter. I hope and pray these girls are working to fix that problem to complete the puzzle what district is Red Boiling Springs in? Never thought you cared so much about UC. Again "Can't Wait"
  11. Well mrbigster, fine print in contracts is what always catches people up. lol!! Remember always read the fine print. I'm not sure about UC like you have been about LakeCo. winning it all. I know it is going to take everything these ladies have to make it back to the State tourney, that being said there are a few obstacles they have to take care of first; District, Region, and Sub-state. Like I stated last year, looking forward to a great season with Lady T's. " Can't Wait" Looking forward to the Lake Co. games this year. Is this print big enough for you???? "GO UC"
  12. This much I do know, and that is Union City was able to able to compete their way to a state tourney semi- finals appearance and got a taste of what it means to play on that level. Only jealousy and a real lack of disrespect would cause someone who knows basketball to make that statement. Greenfieldfan you know yourself that Union City now wears the bulls eye Lake Co. has worn in west Tennessee A basketball. If you be honest you wouldn't mind having Union City's team playing at Greenfield. Ending with this note, being able to compete on the state level is not going to be a problem for Union City there problem will be learning for last year’s competing on the state level, but that's not a problem Greenfield has to worry about now is it? Stop hating on those girls they have worked hard and been on the bottom for a long time. You sound real petty and shallow talking like that, give credit where credit is due. Greenfield will have at least two chances at Union City this year, good luck.
  13. Well I hate to disappoint you but Greenfield and Union City played this summer and it was Union City in a rout from what I hear so look for Union City to lead the way in District 14A. You never can tell though stranger things have happened. Just my thoughts based off of what each team lost last year. Here are my predictions for 14A: 1.UC 2.So.Fulton 3.Greenfield 4.Lake Co 5.Bradford 6.Humboldt 7.Halls 8.Trenton
  14. Bradford Greenfield Halls (West TN) Humboldt Lake County South Fulton Peabody Union City
  15. These girl don't need to be given anything, they need to earn it just like everybody else. Hopefully they can live up to the billing but it is all up to them, only time will tell.Looking for a great season and for them to dominate west tn.
  16. After speaking to some of the UC girls players, they played Madison at that UTM camp and they beat them pretty good. Now with all UC Lady T's accomlished last year and practically returning everyone and adding another big body with the suspended player, It is obvious to me that the Lady T's should be the team to beat in Northwest Tennessee.
  17. How did my Lady Tornadoes look, heard they played well? Anybody see them?
  18. Congrats as well, well deserved. I will be watching expect her to start and help that team develop a winning tradition. Not sad to see her leave Lake Co. though has been a terror on District 14A teams and Coaches. Purple and Gold are some nice colors. Great all around player and great opportunity for her to succeed.
  19. Amber Fair/ Union City should be a candidate. Led her team to the State tourney for the first time in school history and made the All-Tourney Team. Scored over at least over 1200 pts as a sophomore. Scores inside and out averages 20 pts and 11 rebs a game. Should defiately be in the conversation.
  20. What are the thoughts and opinions? Who will make it next that didn't make it this? Who will return next year?
  21. Soph Amber Fair passed 1000 points for her very young career. Deserves some consideration she is at worst the second best player in 14A but does so much for her team
  22. Union City will host the Girls A #10 team and the Boys A #9 team. Good test, thoughts and predictions for the final tune up game?
  23. Amber Fair Union City, she is the leading scorer in District 14A averages a double double 20-10, handles the ball defends the inside and outside, Union City's playmaker, knocks down the three, can get to the rim, and deadly from mid range. Amazing to watch her do what she does as a second year player.
  24. Remember that Union City beat that same Greefield team at full strength without one of their starters at Greenfield so second best in the region not to sure about that.
  25. Union City over Peabody 57-35
