There are no excuses to make. PC was beat by a better team. If Jo Byrns has a good running game, I am not so sure we will be seeing PC at all.

Nothing against PC, but they are one dimensional. Besides the qb, they have very little. Defensively, they have trouble stopping the run. IMO Huntingdon is even a better running team than WC.

Well there was one good football team playing in Waynesboro tonight.

I know Wayne Co made PC look bad tonight. From what I saw, Perry Co will have a tough time beating any team that has a good running game. Milan and Camden both would run all over PC. Guru, you keep showing over and over how little you know about football!!

I agree totally. PC has an OUTSTANDING quarterback, but it takes more than that to make a good team.

I will agree that the 3 forfeits will have an impact potentially on PC's seeding. Only if they win tonight though. Otherwise, those 3 forfeits will not effect them at all.

That issue has no effect on Wayne Co. If they win, they will be the #2 seed. If they lose, they will be the #4 seed but not because of the player issue. The 3 teams seeded above them will all be district champions.

Based on your previous predictions, I hope you are predicting a Huntingdon lose.

With a Huntingdon win, the best PC can finish is 3rd. Clarksville Academy is 1st in the district and have more wins than PC. They will get the 2nd seed.

Huntingdon will run whatever offense they need to win. Huntingdon has been and will be a run first team. IF, and that is a big IF, a team can shut down the run we will pass the ball. Wish I had the stats for our passing game this year. Does anyone have that info? I won't use the term you used. Maybe I should go slower here, we have PASSED the ball this year. We have been SUCCESSFUL all year passing the ball. However, if we are running the ball well, it will be steady diet of running.

Do you really know that little about football? Huntingdon has passed with success this year whenever they have needed to. I think we have punted 6 times all year. The offense is working. By the way, I know you don't like history, but in 2003 we passed the ball 2 times in the state championship game. We did quite well without passing. The week before in the semi-final game, we passed for somewhere around 200 yards. Just because we don't pass much in games does not mean it is not practiced. Any coach in the state will take 300 yards of passing a game and never throw a forward pass. Coach Swenson did say the other day we passed a lot, probably 90% of the time. He was counting shotgun snaps and pitch outs in the total though I think.

Against Mckenzie we were 2-2 for 24 yards. Both were big 3rd down plays. Its not that we can't pass, its just that we don't. Until a team shuts down the run game, Coach Swenson will keep feeding a steady diet of runs. If a team does load up and has success stopping the run, we will pass the ball. I don't remember the stats for the Milan game but maybe with that exception we have been over 300 yds rushing every game. Why pass when you run the ball with that kind of success? I think it was Bear Bryant that said there are 3 things that can happen when you pass the ball and two of those are bad.

I hate getting in a war of wits with the unarmed. You need to read that post again. I did not call anyone a idiot. I said it was idiotic for someone to think that talking smack supported their school. The coaches and players could care less if any of US are on CoachT and it is idiotic to think otherwise. With that said, you show me where I have talked as much trash as anyone. I have made posts supporting my team. I have made a lot of posts dealing with the playoff standings. I have responded to some of the trash talk others have made. I will give you a good example of trash talking. In 2003, Huntingdon was playing Chester Co in the playoffs. During warm ups, Chester Co players were referring to our running back Terrance Bell as, "tinker bell". The first 5 or 6 times he touched the football he scored a touchdown. Guess that first comment is trash talk.

Believe I was the one wrong. I just counted the number of games they have scheduled after I read they were getting a forfeit win because they could not line up another game. I made the assumption that at 8-1, there season was done. They can end up anywhere from 1st to 3rd.

Honestly, there is no reason to even have an AP poll. There may have been a few fans say something about being at the top of the poll, but not that many. The funniest thing about Coacht is all the folks that get on here and thing they "represent" their team and school. That could be nothing further from the truth. If your not trying to add informed comments about your program, your just full of hot air anyway. I can say without hesitation that the fans on CoachT of SP, Huntingdon, PC, WC, or any other school are NOT a representative sample of their fan base. If it is, your school has poor attendance at games. For people to think talking smack behind a computer screen gives their school support is idiotic.
