Some folks selling empty promises as @OLD PIRATEwould say snake oil salesman. Pirates will still be competing for championships and the kids that leave will be paying $10 at the gate come November.
I left Sequatchie off my list but yes I think they will be much improved and would add them to the top with MTCS,and Franklin. Pirates will have a very tough regular season next year.
I've got the gas tank filled up and ready to hit the recruiting trail
The current freshman and sophomore class may be one of the most talented groups I've seen in a long time. I know we will have a lot of youth but with a good off season I honestly think we could make another deep run.
I've been in attendance for every state title season going back to the 90s and they have all been memorable but something felt different this year. It was a very special season and for a lot of reasons. Thank you again to all the players for all the hard work that was put in on and off the field. A special thanks to Wes and all the coaching staff. Most people will never know the amount of time they put in. No one can argue with the results and the success Wes has had since being at the helm. The future looks bright down at the speedway!
If the line play is there Sp could easily be playing in December. This is a special group of Freshmen and Sophomores. I have full confidence this coaching staff will have them ready.
Congratulations to the Pirates on #7. Heck of a ballgame! Great job coaching staff getting the guys prepared all season. An excellent defensive performance today was the difference. Farrier is an absolute stud on both sides of the ball! Sp fought through a lot of adversity the last few weeks and still found a way.
