This is why everyone loves highschool football folks! Though USJ put it on St. Georges earlier this year, with the starting quarterback back , the running back running much better, and the defense making big stops, hopefully this second go at it will be much closer! With that being said how does should St. Georges plan to stop mayhall and that USJ offense. Though #7 and #16 seemed to play double coverage on what seemed to be DCA's number 4 (if im not mistaken), it looked like that did not affect him and he was able to score with no problem! Unless St. George's coaching staff has a good game plan going into this game it might turn out like the last. If St. Georges is prepared and fired up about the game we might have a great State championship match on our hands!

you are correct! What I never realized was that St. G's starting quarterback/corner was not playing also. No excuses though

The first play of the game usj drove 68 yards and st. georges held them to 4th an goal from the 2.. St. georges missed two field goals from the 20 in the first half, and then gave up a 80 yard fade over a 5,2 corner in the second.. They had two fumbles and an interception on the other half of the field. Though you cant expect to win playing like this. These things dont help your cause.. Though after being at the game also i will have to give credit where it is due and the usj defensive line played a great game

They beat them by over two touchdowns.. Though looking at the schedule St. Georges has folded under pressure to both ecs and usj they are not a bad football team.. Every game they have lost its because they have flat out beat themselves and everyone there could attest to that. If they play the way they are capable of they should be able to make it to the state championship coming out of there side and then with who ever comes out on the top bracket, it all depends if st. georges backs down and falls apart or stays in the game.

How do you figure harding will cruise to state when St. Georges has already beat them this year?

They had two transfers from Manassas that have waited a full year to play a game which are the rules

If St. Georges plays the game they should play it will be 35-7 St. Georges. If they come out flat and slow it will be something more like 21-7. Either way St. George's running backs and recievers are not going to be able to be stopped by the smaller USJ defense. If special teams gets rolling for St. Georges they should be able to put some points on the board also. The St. Georges defense is going to have to key on Mayhall and the game is over
