  1. I've still gotta go with Cheatham by 10, i'm hoping to make it to this game as well.
  2. That's ridiculous Cheatham won and that's the bottom line. I agree that is a stupid rule though
  3. What is everyones take on how district 10AA is going to wrap up. Cheatham and Harpeth still have to meet up for the crown, they are guaranteed the top two spots. It's looking like the 3rd and 4th seed is going to either Stewart County or Sycamore which are both tied at 5-5 records and a split for the season. Stewart County still has to play Cheatham and Montgomery Central, and Sycamore still has to play Harpeth and Waverly. If Stewart County beats Montgomery Central and Sycamore beats Waverly as they should then we may have a Tie for 1st place and a tie for 3rd place. Montgomery Central and Creekwood each have four games left. In which they each play each other twice. These games will be crucial since the 7th seed will play either harpeth or cheatham in the opening round. Waverly is looking to be the 7th seed due to losing four or five players to injury, one being there leading scorer and point guard. My predictions for the regular season seedings are.... 1- Cheatham and Harpeth (coin toss?) 3- Stewart Co. and Sycamore (coin toss?) 5- Montgomery Central 6-Creekwood 7-Waverly
  4. Nobody ever said Waverly was invincible, Congrats to Cheatham for taking the tigers down a notch, hopefully the loss will make Waverly play even better. If we had to lose i'm glad it was to Cheatham because they deserve second seed. Good Luck Waverly and Cheatham. 1st and 2nd seeds
  5. Ricco had 26 pts, Noel had 18 and the winning shot with 1.8 sec. left to go.
  6. It is absolutely ridiculous to say that Casey Atteberry is not the best point guard in the district or region. I have been watching this girl play since junior high and there is no one that I would trust move at the point than her. She is more versatile than any point guard in the district with driving in ball handling and her shot. It is also wrong to say she is overrated because if that were true she would be going somewhere other than APSU.
  7. Waverly has basically the same team this year as they had last year. Last year Waverly was good but never reached their potential, but this year is a different story. Kevin Rawlings may have inherited a great team, but they have improved quite a bit from last year. It may be a different sitution if Waverly wasn't undefeated, but if they go 12-0 then there is no other coach that deserves the award.
  8. Ricco Ralston(Waverly) Ryan Hollis(Waverly) Noel Smith(Cheatham) Robert Derrick(Harpeth) Curtis Reid(Waverly)
  9. My top pics are Attebury, Banes, and Ellis.
  10. My pick is definitely Ricco. He has the whole package. The only other player that has a shot is Noel Smith.
  11. Yeah that is very true, It does look like Stewart County is pulling it together, they definitely have some raw talent on there team. I would love to see them upset Harpeth next Friday.
  12. Great post about Shari Carr, a very talented player, excellent shooter that unfortunately gets no playing time which is a shame, and its a dang shame that 4 years ago if you would have asked me who would win the AA state championship this year I would have said Waverly Central hands down. 6 excellent athletes entered Waverly 4 years ago as freshmen and as you said, 2 remain, Carr receives no playing time and I commend her for hanging in there, and Price same to you( it's not easy doing what you do.) You can't just rebuild a team forever.
  13. Banes is definitely better, a lot more versatile on the court. Cross is very good though.
  14. Yes, I have saw Cross play and she is very good, but I don't think she is division I material...
  15. First of all waverly did not return 5 starters, and second R.D. can't compete with Ricco. I know any team can get beat on any night, but until Waverly loses when they play another team in District 10AA, I wish everyone would keep there mouth shut. Just because Sycamore has been lucky and won the past two district tournaments, doesn't automatically mean they are gonna win this years. In the past the district 10AA teams have been pretty equally matched, but not this year Waverly is 20 times better in every aspects. So I really wish Sycamore would shut up, unless they can give waverly something to compete with.
  16. Nah Catfish, I think waverly is quite a bit better.....
  17. Okay I understand Waverly hasn't been to the region final or substate or state in a while but when was the last time Waverly did not have a winning season. They are the only team in the district that has been consistly dominate for many years. And waverly has been the regular season champs for the past 2 years and will be again this year. If waverly is not a dynasty for lack of a better word, then why are they always on top. They have had trouble in the regionals but they have also made there mark.... In 2002 they lost to Marshall County in double overtime by 1 in the region semifinal and Marshall Co was state runner up that year. Sycamore just happened to bring it the past two years in the district and regions but for some reason they take all season to pull it together which confuses me, but don't look to pull it together at the last minute this year sycamore because frankly yall aren't that good and this year is waverly's year to go to substate.
  18. A win is a win, and Waverly is undefeated and will remain undefeated. So yeah they are the 10AA dynasty. Look for them to go undefeated through everything and make a run at Region Champions! I hope Harpeth is ready Friday cuz they can't stop the tigers.....
  19. Nope, sycamores not that great..... I think Mont. Central is taking third
  20. First of all Banes is 10 times better of a post than Cross. Second of all whats the big deal with Banes and Morehead playing for cheatham, stuff like this happens all the time and Waverly would not benifit that much if Kristen was still on there because she can't win the game by herself, that has been proved for the past 3 years at waverly. Waverly just doesn't know how to play as a team this year. As for Morehead she is a great ball player but obviously she is not needed at Harpeth, huh HARPETHBOOSTER???
  21. I think one and two in the Region will probably come down to Cheatham and Harpeth. Loretto has what it takes also. In my opinion these 3 are the only good teams in the Region.
  22. I think its pretty clear that 1st place is a toss up between Cheatham and Harpeth. Each team is extremely talented and represents 10AA well. When Cheatham and Harpeth meet again I definitely think that Cheatham is going to win. Cheatham is a team that will not be easy to beat twice, and I think that if they want to win they will win. My pick for third place is also a close one between Montgomery Central and Sycamore, each of these teams are young with Sophomores and Juniors as leading scorers. Mont Central has really surprised me this year, they are very quick girls and have made a big jump from last year. This team is going to do nothing but improve, as is Sycamore. Sycamore has some very talented girls that know how to win ballgames. I think these two teams should beat Waverly, CreekWood and Stewart Co. each meeting and play head to head for third in the end. Waverly, Stewart Co, and Creek Wood are very unpredictable. They win when you least expect it and loose when they shouldn't. Creek Wood is still somewhat young, and Waverly and Stewart don't let loose and shoot enough, they hold the ball too long resulting in turn overs. So my final picks in order are: 1. Cheatham County 2. Harpeth 3. Montgomery Central 4. Sycamore 5. Waverly Central 6. Stewart County 7. Creek Wood
