  1. the stuff I'm making these days should only be consumed by professionals, oak barrel cured widowmaker type shine
  2. Kinda makes sense don't you think. I mean only MJCA could actually play a game, lose it, and finish the season with one less loss.
  3. It's always refreshing to see a parent full of enthusiasm after watching his kid play. Which one was your kid?
  4. So to be clear here, you are contending that MTCS, Davidson Academy, Harding, and Clarksville Academy are all fielding baseball teams of "middle school home-school players"
  5. If you took the "C" out of the name of my school we'd be "osby"
  6. "it's a fool that looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart." Ulysses Everett McGill ‎
  7. Girl's soccer really, you're bringing that on here. Let's say DCA is the best in TN in girl's soccer, nobody really cares including 95% of DCA folks. Tell you what, you pool all that soccer gate money and take your woman out to Donelson's finest eating establishment, but kick in $50 from your own wallet just in case the meal is $75, don't ever get caught short.
  8. based on what I saw against King's, once teams stack the box and dare the FCS QB to throw it, it'll be game over, the defense is solid though, good luck at UT, went there myself (a long time ago)
  9. Let's be honest here, it didn't matter who PC hired, they aren't gonna be playing winning football. I see PC as a Jerry Jones like AD, too "smart" to realize he's the problem.
  10. Been good man, you still playing baseball? I was at King's game, crappy environment. You make it over?
  11. Why in the world would you think I'd drive 450 miles from Cosby to Memphis to watch FCS play? I was at the Cosby - Pigeon Forge game that night. As far as comparisons, I see 1-2 FCS games a year, usually while drinking moonshine, I have no idea which team is better/worse. Is last year's QB that was scared to play against Trousdale and Webb still there?
  12. the FCS crew invades Seymour this week, ole Doyle will be making the trip over from Cosby to see this beatdown,
  13. tell Slimshady ole Doyle is back, I guarantee you will draw him out of that doublewide that most assuredly has no window glass left intact
  14. sometimes in life the answer to a problem can be found when you throw out the variables and find the constants, when I think about MJCA I see PC as the lone constant over the entire football program since day 1, maybe it's time to move the one constant into the variable column and try a new man for the job
  15. waiting for BigDanTeague to chime in, he knows exactly what's going on at NCS
  16. glad to be back, made one of my all time best batches, some of it made its way to the Glade
  17. 2MD, I'm finally back on the grid, but I posted that gem from the Krystal in beautiful downtown Sevierville, TN
  18. Earned the trust of the administration above him = being lucky that the average tenure of an MJCA headmaster has been about two years, none have stuck around long enough to realize he is killing athletics at MJCA
  19. no way, shines meant to be made in the woods, not in some fancy distillery, I want no part of taking away a piece of Appalachian Americana
  20. say BigDanTeague, hows about you get busy on that 2A football writeup, looking forward to it
  21. all the ladies that have tried it have raved about it, it's not what a mountain man would drink but I'm growing my business
  22. when I roll out my salted caramel flavored shine all the ladies in America will go wild over it, even the Hampton ladies if you'd like to take them a free sample
  23. Been a little busy expanding my corn rendering empire, now I've got time to post. How's everything up Hampton way?
  24. I know BigDanTeague, he knows a lot on all the ill doings of TN HS football
  25. Had a guy tell me one time that places usually don't make it a habit of keeping nice guys around that do not produce. MJCA seems to be the exception. The AD has benefited from the revolving door of Headmasters, they stay a year or two then get fired. They are never really there long enough to gauge the job the AD is doing. So by pure dumb luck he has managed to stay around and guide what is without question the worst athletics program in the State of Tennessee. He is a decent hoops coach, but quite honestly he could care less about the other sports at MJCA. I have no doubts that he would have been replaced at any other program. Carry on MJCA, see you at Cosby High School in the near future.
