Shoot that prediction aint even close DeKalb-56 Giles-0 lol. just kidding I am a tiger fan but, the rest of the tiger fans need to realize DeKalb really hasn't played a good team other than Smith and LA and we saw the outcome of those games. play Pickett county and the taft center instead of those two teams and your 10-0 but that doesn't mean your a good team until you play someone. I hope DeKalb comes out strong and wins this game and proves that they deserve to be a #3 seed in the playoffs, Good Luck Tigers, and wish you a safe trip to Smithville Cats.

This is probably the best thing for DeKalb, they were coming off the bye week, they got complacent, and they got their butts kicked. Now they are brought back down to Earth and now they can get re-focused and lose the big heads and just play the game with some fire and intensity. Good Luck to LA in the playoffs, that Knoxville quad looks tough. Maybe we can see a rematch of this one in the semi finals

I hear the QB sneak works well against Macon's Defense im hoping LA wins this one, it would set up a great week ten match up between La and Dc for home field in the playoffs

Not so much a great call is was a qb sneak to line the ball up in the middle of the field... big defense break down by Macon. I do however like Macon's coach call to go for it after their touchdown with about two minutes left, Regardless though it was a great game, congrats to qb Phillips and his tigers on that final drive

perfect post even though Smith did beat us, who cares about stats its about your teams overall record at the end of the day. Dekalb use to have Poteete whose stats were amazing and are in the record books for the state to prove it, but he didnt even win a state title so they are irrelevant.

DeKalb put up a bunch of points up against York but it wasnt pretty IMO, York just happen to play even worse and DeKalb made the best of it. Also by this point in the year i would like to see DeKalb get threw a game without a delay of game, they run a no huddle offense and have been flagged multiple times this year for delay of games. DeKalb has potential for big things the rest of the year, but if they dont clean up the little things they will get a rude awakening first round playoffs against a AAAA team.

Gah i hope we never have to go back to Hixson, 4 dollars to park 6 dollars to get in the game 2 dollars for drinks, the black out in the first quarter, the refs had no idea what was going on and had to take a timeout after every play. Anyways good game Tigers, time to focus on next week and keep it going.

Coach Trapp has improved a great deal as a coach no doubt about that, as you can see what he has done with the DeKalb program, but in regards to the smith game, he was out coached during half time. As for this game i expect a great game. ill take DeKalb in an extremely close one.

Smith may have been shell shocked for the first 3 quarters! very exciting first 3 quarters, unfortunately for DeKalb they still play a 4th quarter. Congrats to Smith great game, Good luck on the rest of your guys season.

I was just insinuating you should never over look a team no matter how many points your suppose to beat them by, hopefully the Smith players will view the game same as you, and be looking at next weeks game rather than this week.

Not sure how the DeKalb Smith thread turned to the Macon Smith Thread, Maybe Macon and Smith should worry about this weeks game first regardless who they are playing this Friday.

Hopefully the struggle against White Co. will get the Tigers heads readjusted, DeKalb will have to mix the Run and Pass on Smith to even have a chance, DeKalb has a good QB in Phillips they need to let him throw more. It is Smith's homecoming so if they get sidetracked a little bit Dekalb may come in and steal one from them, However Smith is well coached and i expect them to be fully focused at the game in hand. Hope to see a great game, but if DeKalb isnt 100% prepared Smith can run away with it. Good Luck DeKalb!

Hate to say it but termite is right, If Trapp could have scored he would be scoring white Co. shut it down. Trapp was still throwing touchdown passes in the 4th quarter against Clay Co. running up the score

DeKalb's Offense if averaging 42 points a game and the D is averaging 6.5 a game against, unfortunately you are correct, the first 3 teams dekalb has played are having horrible seasons, i believe this week will be much different, dekalb will not win 42-7. It will be a great game though i believe. Wish White County a safe trip to DeKalb, be careful crossing sligo its not the most stable bridge.

DeKalb just now moved down to this region 3 years ago, they actually use to be in a really tough powerhouse region, in which they did make the playoffs, so maybe you should think about your post before you start touting

I dont really agree with the roughing the passer call, the ball was intercepted so the QB is now a defender so he should allowed to be blocked, but for the rest of the game ive never seen so many leading with the helmet, spearing, horse collar tackles in my life for both teams, i think the refs were trying to make a statement and be sure to keep the game in control
