What a ride. It's been great watching these kids grow into young men. They have more heart than any team I have ever seen. Great year raiders. Can't wait for the spring........

blitz, blitz, and blitz again and when you turn around blitz somemore.. We will have to get there backs on there heels before they get north and south, speed kills (north has shown that). Offense will have to, play ball control and execute their offense just like we have all year.. This will be a good game, tough test. GO RAIDERS.

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah... Even if north looses they played one more game than the mighty cyclones..... How can you say they have a weak schedule? There in the same conference wiseone.... And the ones that were out of conference for elizabethton they lost........ Plus the ole fluke team won in there house.....

Week schedule no defense blah blah blah blah blah.... quite whinning haters, we won our conference, are the only team left in upper east tennesee and will play to the final whistle blows friday night.... I dont care who comes to our place, when they leave win loose or draw, they will know they have been in a dog fight..........

My point is as our community shrinks so does our lack of athletes to pull from North was a two feeder system for a long time with ketron and lynn view middles schools now we do not have either. we have one elementary school and then the 7th and 8th grades are inside the high school. Rumors are abound here that the high school will eventually be shut down, and our kids will have to go to a different school, so with what these kids are doing, playing the way they are playing we are proud of them as a community... We are a very very small community trying to compete with areas that are much larger most of the time..

500 with 7th and 8th grade, we could potentially have to drop down to AA in the next couple or three years.

Not sure how people can gauge playing time, those kids transfered when they were going to be sophomores so they only played on the freshman team.. And had they stayed they would have been a big part of DB. They transfered because they wanted too not because they had too due to a "playing time" issue

They have 7th through 12 at north and soon to be 1 through six at the old middle school...

The middle school is now inside the high school, with grades 1 through 6 soon coming from the old middle school. We do not have multiple sources to pull from like many other districts across the region. That is what I like about these kids they are doing great things with very very small numbers...

My point exactley you have multiple sources to pull from we have a 7th and eighth grade inside the high school and that is it, coming from one middle school that will soon be grades 1 through six

P.S. How many feeder schools do greenville and west greene and the rest of the teams in Greene county have?? Sullivan North have none.... When you look at the overall perspective of this team, they do very well with nothing coming in, in the form of feeder schools...

Discipline as in penalties. Greenville is 4A. and also has a very potent offense. As you get into the playoffs or as the season winds down any good coaching staff has the ability to put a good game plan together and that is what happens as the year goes on. After that you just have to have kids that refuse to loose and play to the end.. Winning is all about a mind set and how your team performs in the face of adversity. Loosing is about, how you learn from mistakes and grow as a young man into a better person. We did give up 41 points. CD have two very good running backs that run very hard. Its the playoffs I would not expect anything less if you expect to win.....

And the running shoes, well AE have a great tradition, and currently have many good athletes. (One defensive lineman whom is a finalist for MR. football in the state of tennessee). I dont make predictions, because any team can beat on any given night. All i will say is that I know these kids, they come to play with heart and they will not give up, that is what they were taught from an early age. They and the coaching staff also will not make excuses if things do not go their way. It will be a good game. win, loose or draw. The Raiders have had one heck of a season and I am very proud of each and every one of them for the effort they give every Friday night..........

My head has never and will never be in my rearend!! I just get tired of the fact and it starts with your coach saying things like "North stole our conference championship" and "We should have one the game... WE lost, the game tonight" the other team did not play hard and beat us, but "we lost the game tonight" Ya ever stop and think that you just might have gotten beat by a better team...

CD should have one that game huh... well cd should have stopped SN offense when they were two touchdowns down. That would have been the first step in the winning process.. CD came to play, they played very well, and should be proud of the fact that they went toe to toe with one of the best offenses in East Tennessee. Much like the Elizabethton gang that gets on here though, everyone has more excuses than cotter has liver pills, SN won, SN won due to the fact they are a disiplined team, made less mistakes, and executed their offense to perfection. Saying CD beat themselves is like Elizabethton talking about the phanton Defensive backs. North one, we live to play another day, our kids did an excellent job................ GO Raiders

Just wanted to say props to chuckey doak they came with their game tonight. Very good game plan and the juice is a man..... Hey betsy I guess the road runners "stole" your playoff win like Sullivan North "stole" your championship!!!!!!!! I see your coach was not as animated tonight in his interviews as he has been in the past... Maybe next year he can try to get his conference championship that North "stole" from them......
