  1. Actually, I believe the intelligent individual referred to him as a QUITER lol. I am also close with the transfer's family, and I can assure you that that family did not have meetings with the coach to keep Jameson off of the team.
  2. First off, I have always been told never to argue with an idiot because he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. You have some absolutely horrific grammar/spelling. However, this is not English class, so I will not waste my time trying to educate your unintelligent self. My point was that you made it sound like Julius has never picked up the spherical orange basketball until this year. I have known the kid all of my life and he has played basketball for a very long time. This may be one of his first years playing competitive basketball, but he is not a virgin to the game by no means. Not to mention the obvious fact that he is 6 2 and weighs 230 and holds every lifting record at CD. Kohl left because of the declining shape of the program, due to coaching partly. That was the only one that Broyles did not have his hand in. TristAn, Logan, and Painter are not in a Black Knight uniform partly because of the person in the drivers seat. Can you imagine the Knights with Julius at the 5, Kohl at the 4, Jameson at the 3, Corey at the 2, and Logan at the 1? That team would be so competitive. However, those players are not all in the lineup and I have already explained the part of the reason as to why that is the case. I just do not understand how you can sit and back someone with what is quite possibly a single digit I.Q. level. I suppose the saying "it takes an idiot to know one" holds true more often than not lol. Good luck to the Knights and their new attitude along with their whopping 6 win season.
  3. I care if this makes him sick. I am fairly certain that everyone in the county does still remember the names of the kids that have quit that team over the course of their 4 years there. CD has a very talented team this year and they have won 6 games. WOO HOO (sarcasm). Let's take a step back and look at those players, (the "forgotten" ones), and see how big of an impact they might have on this team. The obvious one is doing big things for SG this year. People probably have forgotten about Kohl Tarlton (senior at Crockett), had he stayed, they would have a very talented 4 player this year. Jameson Painter also comes to mind, another one who quit because of the program's pitiful shape and he probably would have been one of the best shooters in the conference this year. Tristan Collins is another that comes to mind, he is simply just not playing because of the coach there, he would have been a big lift offensively for the knights this year. And as for Julius, he is simply an athlete and your argument for him playing his first year and being inexperienced is about dumb because he usually tends to lead the knights in scoring. The German kid, would probably tell you that the European game and the US game is not that different. Players make the transition constantly at higher levels of play.
  4. No, I was not referring to the CD game. That game was very sloppy from start to finish. SG can probably chock that up to the variety of emotions that were in the air for that match-up. Hosea really seems to be doing well with what he has out there. They're perfect in the BRAC thusfar aren't they?
  5. When I saw SG play the other night, it appears that they are starting to gel together well as a team. I think they will still beat Greeneville the 2nd time around. It will be a close game regardless, but I think SG wins this matchup again.
  6. There are a few players in the league this year that I think deserve to be in the conversation for POY.. It should be interesting to see who actually gets it when the year is over.
  7. You can just read my reply to gcfball. I kinda summed all 3 responses up into 1 post to save thread space. I never claimed that seeds meant favorites.
  8. I understand that the seeds do not necessarily mean who should win. We can look at nearly any tournament bracket in any sport and see that those numbers really don't mean anything. I went to PF thinking CD had a good shot at beating PF because of the rarity of CD's offense. As for WG and AE, I knew that it would be a tough game for WG, I honestly thought that WG would win that game just because I knew how Boles had ran the ball all year and the simple fact that any team wants revenge and they were also at home which had to help some. Just to save from reading another post, I would have given that backup QB slot to the QB from CD. I personally went to every game this past season and I felt absolutely sorry for the kid. I can count 6 times that he hit his receivers helmets (dropped pass). And numerous occasions where the receivers simply did not catch the balls. I'd say his TD/INT ratio was not impressive because he had no receivers that could catch even halfway consistently. It was sad.
  9. ACTUALLY, CD was predicted to lose by 21 points to PF. Last time I checked, being predicted to lose does NOT mean that you are favored in a match up. Alcoa has been down and injured all year this past season and that was evident, so your argument about AE beating them does not mean as much as it has in years past. There are seeds in the playoffs for a reason, that's what I'm saying. WG had a good chance at beating AE due to the fact that they lost to AE the year before (revenge) and the other fact that it was on the range. I just didn't want gcfball to try to say that CD's postseason run was not deserved. That is all. So calm down.
  10. yea, he has a really good and accurate arm. I'd probably put him as the back-up of the all county team as well. lol Good decision.
  11. You would put Rhinehart at QB for an all county team? lol
  12. Were you at the game in PF? Did you see Juice run the ball that night? Did you see him run the ball for 30 yards on a crucial 4th and 2 (5 of those 30 yards came with 3 defenders on his back)? Don't worry, I'll wait for your response. CD went AWAY and won, meaning they were the underdog, Knoxville radio station had them losing to PF by 21. WG went to the range and lost, meaning they were favored. I do understand that WG won between WG and CD. However, please please please, don't try to take anything away from that Knights team by saying their playoff run was not deserved by putting down their opponents.
  13. I am not entirely certain about how true this is, so before you get all pissed and defensive about it, just know that I initially stated I am not sure how true it is. However, I did hear that Ogle attended a large kicking camp this past summer and he soon realized that he was simply average once you got away from this area. Colleges usually do NOT give scholarships out to kickers on their first year because most kickers are head cases. I agree that he is a very FINE kicker, but when you get away from this area, how well does he stack up against the competition? I don't believe that you can accurately guarantee that Ogle could start for D-1 schools all over the country either lol.
  14. I would probably not go so far as to say that Boles is the strongest back in the county. I believe that title goes to engine number 25 "Juice" lol. That kid is a freak. I'm not sure of Boles' speed, but I am pretty confident that Juice is a stronger back. I don't think I witnessed him go down by 1 or 2 people the entire season. I heard this phrase multiple times throughout this past season: "Juice carries the ball and is brought down by a host of _______ (insert mascot of choice)". Boles is a dang good running back, so before you take offense to this post, just know that I said that he was very good. I just am not convinced that he is the strongest in the county.
  15. Well, unless both teams have changed a lot since that Thanksgiving tournament up in the Husky Den, I don't see this game being very close. It is also at Rebel hill this time, so that also plays in favor of the Rebs. I could be wrong, but that I think SG will win comfortably.
