  1. Not exactly up on all the rules, but didn't realize coaches could no longer question a call. Didn't seem like they had any intension of calling a fair game. I heard they even gave the Trojans a 4th time out with 3.3 sec left in the game.
  2. If Eagleville offense plays offense like they did against Huntland, because it just wasn't defense that won the game. It was a total team effort ! Eagleville's offense has gotten better every week and #3 isn't the team, he is the catalyst that makes the offense work. Eagleville will play with great effort as is their motto. Go Eagles!
  3. We didn't take Huntland for granted. We came out and played with great intensity and effort,as is Coach Carsons motto. We were up 35-0 at the half and starters were in for one series after the half. Starters were pulled and the subs came in Huntland scored three TD's on the 2nd group. They didn't come close to scoring on the 1st defense. Offense clicked and so did the defense. We the parents and the fans are proud of this team and time will tell if we are the team I think we can be. Go Eagels!
  4. There was no block in the back! The game film showed #10 took 3 steps out of bounds right in front of the ref. and he blew the call and made up for it when one of Eagleville's players knocked a Forrest player into the back of another Eagleville player. Forrest first TD on 4th and goal #10 knee was down before he crossed the goal line and ref. blew that call too. The block in the back was bogus and so was the ref. not calling #10 out of bounds.
  5. It must only be up when Cascade and Forrest are winning. You must be a Cascade fan? If Eagleville would have had any offense last year we would have beat Cascade. The offense has improved and if the coach decides to open it up they will score more. Teams such as Huntland and Community are much improved and so is Eagleville. Don't need fair weather fans or cheerleaders!
  6. No, we say them the year before you in the play-offs.
  7. Didn't say I was getting my hopes up! I said we looked forward to play G'ville or SP and we might get beat, but it would make us a better team. We have to play with the hand we are dealt.
  8. I didn't say that is what I wished for it, but if we are in the same quadrant we have no choice but to face one of the two. I said in order for us to get to that level that we looked forward to playing them and it could only make us better.
  9. I thought a player had to have two unsportsman like conduct penalties called on them to be ejected and forfiet playing in there next game?
  10. This is a different team than Eagleville's past teams. No attitudes and all about me players. Free agent have you seen them play? Not the biggest team you will see, but they do not lay down when they are behind, don't talk trash and play with great intensity. They have one of the better secondaries that I've seen in 1A ball this year and our much more productive with the change at QB. Gotten better every week since. We look forward to playing G'ville or SP and we might get beat, but it will only make us better I hope and let our kids know if they work as hard as G'ville and SP that they will be in there position one day. Only our 8th season of playing football.
  11. They will probably beat Cascade and go further into the playoffs than the Champions.
  12. Eaglville is flying under the radar and I hope it stays that way. We don't get any respect and that is fine! I saw a team that could have hung 100pts. on MTCS if the coach would've wanted to. But, he isn't that kind of coach. Score was 48-0 before halftime and 2nd group was already in the game. 2nd group held them to seven points and seems to be improving. Eaglevilles offense seems to be improving with a new found passing game, which opens up the running game too. We did't need much offense against MTCS, as the defense scored 21pts. on them. MTCS coach seem to think that they shot themselves in the foot, but the fact is we were all over them. We probably don't have the most talent, but these kids love and play for each other. I don't know how far this will take us, but these kids seem to believe that they can play with anyone and only time will tell. Go Ealgles!
  13. I know Eagleville has a chance to beat Cascade, but they still have to play MTCS and Huntland. They are better offensively now than they were early in the season. We will just have to wait till that time comes and may the best team win. GO Eagles!
  14. It did look like an even match as far as score and stats go,but Forrest first TD sure did look like the TB knee was down before he crossed the plain. The side judge and the back judge both looked like they blew the call and I think an Eaglville player let him know it. It was a very good game to watch, but Forrest did't have a answer for for stopping #3.
