Someone is still a little touchy from last year I see. Didn't say you were dropping us because you are afraid of us (although), I just asked if anyone has heard this. I was told at the jamboree that you were dropping us. You would think as large as your school is that you would be 20 for 20. Yes we know you guys are the epitome of sportsmanship and we all can learn from your example. Pardon us for excessive celebration after winning for the second time in 20 meetings. We'll try to contain ourselves Thursday if lightning strikes in back to back years. Glad to finally have a charger posting to support thier team.

You need to get your facts straight. As usual rumors have your simple mind mixed up. Supposedly the kid was trying to hit the female and the boyfriend took all the blows for her at Walmart. Come on man get your rumors straight................................. We know your kids are going to take him out for the year. Pretty sad when adults are running their mouths like school kids.

Going with the Lions, like that would be a surprise!!!!! Should be a very intense game with tons of hitting. No love lost between these teams, just hope its a good one with no injuries. I know we cant afford any and I doubt if Westview can. Have no idea why its on Thursday and have a hard time saying UTM is a neutral field when all Westviews home games are played there. Anyone heard the rumor Westview dropped Dresden after this year? Hope we end this relationship on a two game win streak......................................

Yes one of our coaches worked with Gaddis while he was at Henry County so I'm guessing they are friends. Milan looked amazing against Henry County and I'm glad we don't have to play them. Good luck with that game against the dogs, Trenton.

I would say the catch was more correct call than the two point conversion was. But either way it was a fun game to watch and congrats to Trenton for the win. Thought both teams looked pretty good at times and I'm sure we both exposed weaknesses each other have.

I was very impressed with all the teams and really seen some good football. Tie ballgames on last second plays, a win with 1 second left (which I thought sucked because we lost) but overall it was a great time to watch football and Henry County has a great jamboree. Hope we play there again next year.

Well I was pleased at what I witnessed tonight at Henry County. Our boys played with fire and was quick to the ball, offense looked pretty good. We didn't get the win but I think we will be alright.

Honestly I don't know how we will look against you guys. Spring practice you had your way with our boys and it looked pretty bad. I can tell you what our boys said about the spring practice. They all said that "when our #1 defense was on the field (first position only) they held you guys" so they will be alright. They seem more optomistic than I am. We will be missing two starters on the O line and one of them plays both sides of the ball but they seem pretty fired up to play so it should be interesting. I've been trying to stir them up with all the polls and everyone saying last year was a fluke plus the only reason they were any good was because of last years seniors. Don't think its helped any though.

Not sure who was asking about Murray High in Kentucky but from what I hear (I work in Murray) they arent near as good as the last few years. They are using a last year LB / FB as quarterback this year. They will always have some speed. Most people around here dont think they are going to be very good.

Even though it was a 4 to 4 tie South Fulton really beat Dresden pretty much the whole game. The QB for SF is a stud and you've also got pretty good size on the line.

Overall the team looked much better. Kenwood had speed and size and really reminded me of Liberty from Jackson, maybe not quite as good. The beat us 5 to 2 with two of their scores against #2 defense and one against the freshmen, they played only their starters most of the game. We also threw two picks in the end zone. We will be fine if we can stay healthy and that's a really big if. We've already lost one lineman for a week or two which is a Huge blow to the team. We have a lot of growing up to do but I think we will be fine. It is what it is!!!!!!!!! I've actually heard a coach say that we are ahead of where we were at this time last year but I think he was at Butchie's house before the game sniffing paint or something........

That is the one bright side I've seen this year, our boys are in shape!!! Hopefully if we are within 47 points of our opposition entering the 4th qtr we can make a comeback and win. They did look a little better at Bethel yesterday against Kenwood out of Clarksville. We only got slightly monkey stomped..............

We haven't used on number 1 defense at any of the scrimmages so I'm not ready to throw in the towel. We are very limited on depth at all positions and they need to develop the younger players which is what the coaches are trying to do. In my opinion that is. I think the boys will be alright, dont know if we'll go to Cookeville but we will be competitive.

So what time does Dresden Jr High play Inman Middle? I agree with DHSFB64's predictions except Dresden will beat Trenton..................... Should be an awesome night of football!!!!!

We played South Fulton Friday at the Lion's den. At times we looked great and other times we couldn't tie our own shoes. SF came out and punched us in the mouth for most of the game and then the boys decied to play. I think the score wound up tied at 4 to 4 and it looked like the red devils ran out of gas a little. Their quarterback is a stud!!!!! Lions did manged to take the QB and a few lineman out of the game with what looked like minor issues. We also put the ball on the ground somewhere between 5 and 8 times so thatwas a little disturbing. We play again tomorrow (Monday) against a school from Clarksville. Don't know anything about them........ I'm still wondering what this season is going to look like.

Tell you what a class act this group of club members are. Being the field was built, paid for and named after this club in 1922 (or whenever), you would think they would like to take care of it. They were asked if the "club" could clean the bleachers before the season starts so the place would look decent. Their answer was, that isn't their responsibility to look after the stadium. Guess they only look after the money in the concession stand. I'll die of starvation before I buy anything from there. Better yet I'll just tailgate in the parking lot and give food and drinks away to spite them...........................

Went to a playoff game a Henry County a few years ago and they really do have the train horn going on. Even heard stories that they have to keep repair supplies around because opposing team fans like to sneak over and cut airlines to it. We tried the smoke once and when Hogheaven lit the fire, the methane from the pig pin blew him up the hill and he landed on fans trying to buy food from the Rotary Club. Those no good S.O.B.s tried to sue him for loss of revenue...............
