Boles O Baxley D. I think Edens has done a better coaching job considering what he has to work with compared to what Ballard has to work with so I would give it to him.

Highly questionable but they did go 5-5 against SG.

Could become a good rivalry in the coming years then cause NG has some talented young players and finally a solid coaching staff...

CD is having a good year 6-1 with Greeneville, WG, then SG to finish up. Shouldnt of lost to Unicoi but a solid team nonetheless. NG had CD's full attention last week which is an indicator of how far NG has come honestly, CD was ready to play and played at a high level the whole game.

47-19. Dont' sleep on NG though those boys are playing tough, inspired, football this year. I could see this one being a 21-7 kind of game for NG. Their D is solid O is a work in progress though.

I have never seen Lexington play so I will not pass judgement on where they should be ranked (which is pointless anyways this ain't the BCS), however I have seen Greeneville play three times this year and came away impressed each time. Coming in to the year I thought they would be down from last year but they seem to be just as dominant. West and Alcoa are 2 very good programs and Greeneville played right with West and did whatever they wanted against Alcoa. Like I said I'm not going to say where Lexington should or shouldn't be because I know nothing about them, but I do know that Greeneville is a heck of a football team that wouldn't suprise me in the slightest if they went back to back this year...I do hate them though.

And while sad but true, Greeneville's subs are a good match up with the rest of the conference starters.

Kicking game could be critical too. WG could be in serious trouble if it comes down to a crucial extra point or field goal late in the game.

Should be a pretty good game. A key to watch for is how 10 throws the ball against WG defense. Everybody in the conference is well aware that the WG pass defense is not very good. Cant wait to see the matchup between 32 for WG and 5 for SG. Baxley is a beast on D!

Makes sense I havent thought about it like that. Like you said though basically everybody but Greeneville in the conference plays both ways and a lot of the Devils players do too so I dont really know how big an advantage that is.

Thats gonna be tough with WG and CD still to play should be good games. Never know what's gonna happen in county games. How do the cooler temps help SG?

Yeah he is doing a great job at NG. Hopefully they can keep their good season going and make it to the playoffs. Really reminds of the job Case has done at WG.

Pretty decent offense with the Wing T. Have the ability to really shorten a game. Have a couple athletes in the backfield. However, their D is atrocious. SG should score at will.

When did he get hurt? I looked at Citizen Tribune web site and he played against Grainger last week. WG has their hands full if he does play I remember him from last year. Could be that whoever is more effective between him and Boles gets their team the W.

I agree Bud NG has vastly improved, but I still don't think they can compete for a full 48 minutes against the rest of the county. CD wins this one by 3 td after a close, hard hitting, first half NG just runs out of gas. Both teams looking good though and hopefully going to playoffs.

Well thats the way it goes I reckon. The owner went to WG and played football too so it makes it a little easier to do I guess.

The owner donates the money back to the WG Booster Club who spreads it around to all the sports programs.

CG did not look too good to me against WG on D had some serious trouble stopping Boles and Starnes...Juice and Malone should have big games. However, CG's offense did not look to bad would sure help if they had their QB back. I see CD winning this one by 2 or 3 scores.
