  1. Who are some of the assistants from your schools you would expect to see as a head coach somewhere in the next year or two? Very interesting topic at the college level, and something that is relevant in the high school ranks as well.
  2. Stupid dive play? I like it, you don't know much huh? Or at least blocking wise. What are Fulton's newly remodeled facilities like?
  3. Hixson is in Chattanooga? Correct? Would make more sense to send Hixson to Quad 1 than Dekalb, isnt Dekalb closer to Nashville. Livingston is a good ways away from the others in Quad 1 also. I still enjoy the playoffs this way, makes it fun to not have a clue who you are playing, or if you are in or out. The best way to be happy is to schedule a weak non-district schedule and win your district.
  4. Wasn't it? He started homecoming too, I think.
  5. At least somebody's band plays during the game, Greeneville's (I know they're not in A-AA) band barely plays during the game. Warmup for the majority of the 2nd quarter, perform the exact same show they do every game, and then take the 3rd quarter off. It's a joke! Hey Greeneville band fans, cheer for the football team! They're the reason you have a performance on Friday night anyways!
  6. I thought it may be fun to put on here some of your teams unique traditions, or things you like that your team does. Offense, defense, pre-game, post game, just whatever.
  7. Yeah right, an incompletion stops the clock. Running the power play and iso 3 times in a row keeps that clock rolling!
  8. Lets talk about the enrollments of your favorite schools! Greeneville is right at 850, what is your schools numbers?
  9. Who do you want to see play each other? What are some possiblities? Who do you think will be changing districts due to school enrollment and classification? I am a Greeneville person, and i expect a few changes in Greeneville's district. Sullivan South in 4a with West Greene and Chuckey-Doak?
  10. Whats worse, beating a team by 70 (BECAUSE A TEAM CANT STOP THE OTHER TEAM) or taking a knee the entire 2nd half?
  11. It has a lot to do with money. Why do you think the state is staying with 6 classes? Almost every high school anywhere, and even colleges, rely on their football teams to fund the entire athletic department. So somebody does suffer. Look at the teams, that took Greenevilles spot on the schedule. Not real good football teams, Greeneville goes 15-0, and is trying to reschedule before the 2011 season with the majority of their team coming back. I bet you when Greeneville does their scheduling this year those teams won't run and hide. Maybe Greeneville will be able to fill a schedule before April or May this upcoming offseason. Barb, it was not due to a cancelation in Greeneville's schedule. They only had 9 games for a very long time. Tried to get a team out of Sevier County to play and they went to North Carolina. Franklin County was the closest team that would play Greeneville.
  12. Franklin County was the closest team that would play Greeneville. Sullivan South, Tennessee High, Jefferson County, and Elizabethton all dropped the Greene Devils. Bad decisions on the behalf of those schools. Greeneville travels very well, and brings a huge gate for the opposing team.
  13. Kinda like how Boles played in the "Border Bowl" and the Greeneville Sun said he was one of eleven players on the All-Bowl team with 5 carries for 13yds, when really he just played in the game and got a participation plaque, Somewhere, somebody likes to inflate their information which causes some interesting conversation. I would like to see how many guys tomorrow on NSD that are ESPNU 150 or Rivals Top 150 guys have already had their Jersey "retired" or "hung up" or whatever the folks from the West end of Greene County call it? Dalton had a great high school career, his school went a little overboard with this one!
