I really do not think that either of those two will happen. MC has too much speed for EH. As for Westview vs. SG Westview would have to play a great game to beat them

I strongly disagree, Fairview still has one more year of good football in them. There are alot of outstanding seniors on this team this year. It will be sad to see them go. But next year, we will still have a great team, no doubt. Most of the juniors who start also started last year so they have plenty of experience under their belt. In fact, some people might argue that if there was a Juniors vs. Seniors game juniors would win.

What im asking is what would that do to their seeding, would we have an easier road to state?

If Fairview managed to "lose" this one what would that do to their seeding.

How did East manage to win this one?

Since Page lost to Marshall, and if Page loses again to Giles does that do anything to Fairviews playoff seeding since they should tie for second in district.

These refs are stupid.

Lewis these past few years has always been a tough team. This year, in my opinion and no offense to them, they don't really strike me as being that tough team. Giles will watch film on Lewis, not that they need to because the offense has ran the same plays since jesus was born. But they will adapt to lewis offense and shut down everything. If you don't come with something new or mix it up, you are going to end up having negative yards at the end of the night. This Giles team is for real, in past years they have been a tough team that if some lucky breaks happned they might make it to state. But this year they are going straight to state and there is not a thing lewis can do to stop them from walking all over you to get there. As for the giles co offense, go ahead and make gameplans for whatever you want, you might be able to contain them to a 2 touchdown lead in the first half if you play really good. But after the second half, say your prayers cause you are in for a long second half. They will adapt to your defense and either throw or run all over you. Good luck Lewis, but theres just no stopping this team

You were so right, that boy does not stop running until his back hits the ground. Was 23 the other boy who ran the ball hard? Cause if he was, those two can wear down a defense and open up the pass game easily.

The one thing that is different from this years loss is the way the team and community responded to this loss. Previous years, losing to Giles was horrible. After the game the whole communtiy ran around saying "we hate giles" Blah blah blah and were bashing on how Giles was such a dirty team. In reality, they just gave us our first loss. This year, after we lost, our community and team took it the exact opposite. Everyone in Fairview is pulling for Giles to win state and instead of bashing on giles because we lost to them we RESPECT them because we lost to them.

On a completely separate topic, "The Brickyard" is a great place to go watch a game. Although, i was a little disappointed, i thought that he home crowd would literally be so loud they would shake the stadium. Too bad Page can't visit there to go and face the inevitable. There is no doubt in my mind page can handle what Giles has. Giles will give page all they can handle, and more. I cant wait to see that game.

If Giles was not as dynamic as they are, we could beat them. Giles can adapt to any game situation. When you have a QB like Cobb the pass is always an option. Speaking about the option, their read option is insane, Cobb reads it like a pro. But lets say, you have the passing game locked down. Which is what Fairview planned for. Okay? Then they just give it to one of their 2 backs that just rip off gains at 5-10 yards a pop. Overall, I was impressed with this Giles team. Very well Coached. Like i said before, can adapt to any game situation. On the other hand, I was impressed with Fairview's play as well. We held our ground for the most part and hung in their with Giles. If Giles really does win state this year, which there is no doubt they wont. Theoretically speaking, one would only predict that Fairview would go as deep into the playoffs as they wanted to.
