Malone would not have made a 40 point difference against Dresden. We would have been more competitive against them but I don't see him making that big of an impact. I saw him after the game on the practice field pacing around. Looked like not being able to help in that loss got to him. I think he's learned from it and will do better now.

Malone was moved from starting QB because he had gotten in to trouble off the field and I believe the coaches thought was keep him on the team but move from being the leader to teach him a lesson. He has now earn his spot back and will be the QB again. I watched him after the lose Friday he was bothered by it a lot. I think he's learned and feels like he let the team down. Hope he can keep his nose clean for his sake not the teams! Roll Tide!!!

That tells me all I need to know about your coach. Not very smart! If you lose Winn you lose your season.

Would you be saying that if Winn had gotten hurt cause he was left in a game that was already decided? I don't think so.

And it hasn't been long since his suspensions it still remains to be seen if he's learned from it. If he messes up again I'm sure he'll be off the team.

Peabody has had very few unsportsmanlike penalties and no players ejected that I can remember over the past few years. Yes Malone was suspended for half a game against UC and the entire game against Humboldt. I'm not defending him but he is a teenager And teenagers do dumb things sometimes. He has been disciplined for that. That is what good coaches do. They Teaches players to not repeat mistakes.

We only lost 2 games last year. One was to Milan a very good semifinal team and the other was to a state champion powerhouse in UC. We also hung with UC this year and hopefully we can see a rematch in the playoffs. The title will stay in the WEST this year.

Third in our region is still a state title contender. Last I check the top three teams in our region are in the top 5 in1A. Just sayin.

Not to mention we need our QB to be able to play every game. Doesn't matter how good you are if you can't stay outta trouble and stay on the field.

Yeah if Taylor can make the throws I think we'll ok. We've got a good running game but we've been spotty at WR. We've been missing a game changer at WR. I think Malone will help us get a little consistency at WR. That'll make teams have to watch both the run and the pass. It's hard to defend a balanced offense.

Looks like we will be without Malone again this week. Also looks like he may have lost his spot at QB.

I would say that neither team laid down. Both fought till the end like champs do.
