Actually, Greenfield had a running clock on us last week (49-14) and then we scored late. For the record. The rest of the post I agree with.

You really need to check those facts. The first year, Coach Rang did everything he could to correct the way Dresden played the game. Rang dealt with the Crazy Hodge era and it was taught to the players to play to the 2nd whistle, ripping off your opponent's helmet, and the trash talking. In year 2, those penalties were cut by over 64%. Coach Rang preached humility and to let your play do the talking. He once said, even with the talent he inherited, the hardest thing he had to deal with was the attitudes and style of play (some parents, a lot of fans, and the ingrained effects of the kids).

I've always called it like it was, even when I used to call out the Stanks. We were better and we knew it. They're not now and I know it.

As bad as I hate to say this and it is painful because of some epic battles with Peabody....Peabody by 40 plus (if they want to). Sorry D town...I love you, but the staff has lost all control of the team and that's something that is unacceptable. Keep rewarding bad, undisciplined behavior and it becomes a cancer on a team. If Greenfield hung nearly 50 on us, we got problems.

......I knew the fall would be quick, but not this quick. West Carroll....it's now yours to win or lose. According to one of the coaches, Dresden had over 20 penalties tonight and 1/2 of them were either personal fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct. Greenfield hadn't beaten Dresden in like 15 years or so. This is ridiculous. The coach or the administration have lost control again. When I saw the score on CoachT, I at first thought it was an error. I was told the game wasn't as close as the score was. Crazy year for sure.

I haven't been on the Dresden Lions board in a while, but anytime I hear Dresden fans complaining about "dirty" play...even I have to call them out on it. Historically speaking (within the last decade), Dresden was historically undisciplined (until Coach Rang's second year) and the bad attitudes costs a lot of games. I've watched the video clip and yes, I believe it was an intentional step...but with that being said, I lived through unsportsmanlike conduct penalties almost weekly, multiple personal fouls weekly, helmets getting ripped off (almost weekly)..hence the old saying, what goes around comes around. You show me a team's penalties every week and I'll show you where their problems are...and I venture to say that Dresden averages 5 personal fouls a game this year based off box score and friends in the area. Total undisciplined play by a total undisciplined team. The decline started after 2 years ago...it's only going to get worse. Hope the younger Yates heals up, he's a gifted athlete and a game changer in Single A. Great win for West Carroll.

No need for any regrets...I've moved and have changed my identity. I'm pulling for Milan and hope to see you guys in Cookeville later this year. Y'all have a great team and program and I look forward to following the Bulldogs on this 2017 journey.

#12 is a Senior (Bryant). She's a great kid and a great competitor. I don't usually make a showing in this sport they refer to as basketball, but c'mon Lady Lions....it's Huntingdon and they need a beat down on the hardwood.

First of all, I will be keeping my CoachT account on due to my prediction and will not be retired; Second of all, Greenback put up a fight but were just out-manned. Outside of a blown coverage and the strip sack, the game was pretty much in control...but that's on Dresden; and lastly----Coach Rang (and his crew) took Dresden to the top and he should receive all the well-wishes in whatever endeavor he decides. I personally do no fault him for wanting to go closer to his "real" home and Dresden will forever be in the history books. College Scouts/Coaches should have taken notice today that there are multiple players with D-1 ability on that field (both teams) and Yates should have been a Mr. Football nominee. This game should have given 2 Offensive MVP's....but in the end it's a team game.

The "juggernaut" known as the Dresden Lions will win this game with a running clock. I will give GB the line "size", but I'll take a smaller, quicker line over the buffet destroyers when your skill corps is one of the best in the State in any class in all of the classes (QB,WRs,RBs). This year, the Dresden Lions would win 1A, 2A, and would be a coin toss against Alcoa and favored against Liberty. The championship game in 1A was played last night in Dresden, Tennessee....this will be a "showcase" game for college scouts. No disrespect to Greenback, but the facts are the facts. Nothing wrong with a silver and you guys should be proud of the season you've had. If the Cherokees score 20, it'll be an impressive feat against the Dresden Defense. The Cherokees won't be able to score with Dresden. Closest game was a 24-0 victory, which was called 5 minutes in the first quarter due to weather and a concession of the game in Week 2 or it would have been a 60-70 to 0 score. Come on back next weekend and express your feelings. If Dresden doesn't win with a running clock, I will disable my CoachT account and retire forever from CoachT.

Unfortunately this year, the juggernaut (overwhelming or unstoppable force for those that don't know those big words) that is Dresden will represent the West. First of all....get that Glamour Shot profile pic of you down---it makes me feel uncomfortable; and second: If you've watched both teams play, you'd be a terrible prognosticator or gambler. I'd say there is a great potential for a running clock if the execution is there.

Matter of opinion.....the Defense of the Lions is far superior than what they've seen. Dresden has a lot more offensive weapons and options. Right now...probably a 3 TD game.

Should be a battle. WC in a close one.

What about those schools that don't count their vo-tech/learning center students? Glad Dresden don't do that
