We beat Humboldt twice in 2012 and Mckenzie twice last year. Winning twice is possible. This game is gonna have a huge impact on the playoffs. Obviously UC is favored. I think we're due. Someone has to beat them eventually. I feel like we probably have the best chance. ROLL TIDE!!!

I can't see Dresden unseating us until we lose. The only teams on our schedule that I see being able to beat us are UC or Dresden. Not sure about Dresden having the speed to keep up. Y'all have a good team and a very good QB just don't know if Winn is enough to make up for our speed and Malone. It will be interesting to see.

I think Coach Jacobs ran those 2 plays at the end of the half to try and regain some momentum. Sometimes you have to take chances to do that. It's kind of like a fighter trying to steal a round by throwing a bunch of punches to end a round.

The coach wasn't the issue. We didn't execute well. Had some passes under thrown and some dropped. We'll get that worked out. We also played a good team with a good defense. Both Peabody and Milan will do pretty good this year.

I'm pretty sure if you go up to Union City you'll see that they are like us and only have one entrance. No one would say that UC isn't a football school.

We have 2 ticket booths that I'm sure will be open. That's plenty. Just be a smart fan and come early.

Our fans are talking about another gold ball because we are one of the favorites to win it this year. If you don't see that something is wrong with your eyes.

Where on CoachT have you seen a Peabody fan claiming anything about a repeat? I haven't seen it anywhere. We have a good team again this year and everybody knows it. Will we win tomorrow night? Don't know but it will be a good game. And as for giving excuses for why we lost I thought the purpose of this site was to talk football. Isn't a major part of that giving opinions on what your team did right and what they did wrong?

Malone is definitely fun to watch and a valuable weapon but he's not our only weapon. We have a talented team. What hurt us in last year's game was Malone came out too pump then once he settled down our receivers dropped too many passes. We could never really get a rhythm going. Should be another great game. If we can find a rhythm early it could be a lot fun to watch. ROLL TIDE!!!

There is no way either team should mercy rule the other in this game.

Not sure how this game is going to play out. I'm not sure how much stock I need to put into what appears to be Milan struggling. They've only beat Mckenzie in a scrimmage and lost to Dresden in the jamboree. But how much stock can you put into scrimmages and jamborees?

Peabody beats South Gibson Co 13-7

BigSwo I called it last year when TSSAA put out the new classifications. And I'll say it again they will complain and cry about UC and now it's Peabody. Next it'll be Dresden. They can't beat us so they have to find something unfair about it and complain. They won't be happy till they have a district of nothing but schools with 200 or less students playing each other. We didn't cry when we were in a district with Milan and Martin Westveiw. We sucked it up and took or lumps just like they need to.

We'll see. Should be a classic.

Well we would be good. We don't have a Wally World in town.

If you put Gleason, Greenfield, Lake Co and all the extremely small schools in a class by themselves they wouldn't be able to afford all the travel that would be required. Also why should we volunteer to move up and be the smallest school in our classification. To think we would want to is ridiculous cause you know you wouldn't want your school to do the same. But that's right I forgot we live in a world now where we punish the successful. If we had been put in 2A by the TSSAA we would have accepted it and prepared for a fight and not cried about it and made excuses.

Come on that was a great game!
