  1. The South Fulton girls beat Lake County last night. Cox had 28 points. They handeld the press easily. They should have beat Trenton, but got into foul trouble. I noticed some have ranked them 5th or under in the district...they look better than that.
  2. The South Fulton Girls showed up to play in the first quarter this game instead of giving their opponents a ten point lead and just playing 3 quarters. If they can start strong in the games ahead, there won't be many teams that can beat them.
  3. The South Fulton Girls looked good against Greenfield, Obion Central, Bradford and stayed close to Gleason...are they a team to watch in the District?
  4. Coach Fraizer always gets Gleason ready to play. Curt Lee, coming back from a 2 game suspension, will have his team ready as well. Looks like a good matchup Friday. I am still going to go with the "Underdog" South Fulton Devilettes! Its anyone's ballgame!
  5. So...what's the prediction of Friday's game...South Fulton at home against Gleason? Picking Gleason?
  6. What a victory by the South Fulton girls. To go to Greenfield and beat them by 21 points had to sting! The district looks more competitive this year than ever. Is there a ranking yet among the teams?
  7. South Fulton's defense shut down the Greenfield girls good shooting. That was a big win to go in to Greenfield's home court and beat them by 21 points! I think many people have underestimated the South Fulton girls team this year.
  8. Thanks for the concern. Sorry to hear about your son. It's always sad to see injuries let alone ones that end the season for players. We wish the best for you all too.
  9. Hey guys. I read your last few posts and would like to thank you for not being really discouraging to South Fulton. They get enough discouragement everyday at school from their peers. And as for the injured players, Sisson had a concussion, Minchue had a dislocated knee (or kneecap maybe, I'm not sure), and Hawks is still in the hospital with kidney problems.. This is the last that I heard of them.
  10. Can the Devilettes hold them off and win this battle? Could there be an upset? I wouldnt be surprised!
  11. The Devilettes beat Lake County to remain 3rd in the District! This is a pretty young team to be doing this good. Are they for real?
  12. I am just glad you both know how to spell HORSE & PIG! Your spell checker must be working again! South Fulton will surprise many this year.
  13. Hey mom...I am glad you saw the foul issues too! You are right, South Fulton was good at Faking fouls...Peabody was good at Making fouls. If you can fake them and get away with it...or make them and get away with it...its all a part of the game. The girl in the middle for Peabody had at least 6 fouls before the third quarter. In the boys game...the big man in the middle was only charged with 1 foul all night!!!! Its all a part of the game....but remember....you cannot let Mr. or Mrs. Basketball foul out of a game like that. Too many scouts!!!! Good luck to Peabody and South Fulton! Hats off to Peabody's coach as well....she adjusted great in the 2nd half.
  14. Congrats to Peabody! They played a good 2nd half! South Fulton could not adjust to the Zone!!!! Somewhere along the line...South Fulton has to hit a jump shot to draw them out and it didnt happen. There is still a chance that these two teams will see each other again....
  15. Peabody did a wonderful job from the 3 point line against Gleason, but if they rely on the "three" to win against South Fulton, they didnt learn anything from watching the Devilettes play Dresden. If Gleason had adjusted and shut down Peabody's three point shooting...Gleason wins the game. Dresden looked past South Fulton to Trenton! Big mistake. Peabody might be looking forward to Sub-State. Another big mistake. It is hard to beat a team 3 times in one year...ask Dresden! The Swammy Knooooowwsss!
