Well, I thought it interesting that Friendship dropped only 1 spot after losing to Van Buren and Westmoreland.

So are you saying Van Buren is not in their league. I'm guessing with this comment you think they won't have any problem this Friday with the other Eagles in the district?

Well, at least you KNOW what you need to do- "play smart, tight defense" Now if you and your teammates can only execute it without trying to look good in the process. I say Friendship by 10+

I'm curious to see if some of Van Buren's faithful are as cocky about this game as they were that blowout they predicted against Watertown (WOW- 5 point whippin'). How does everyone else see this one shaping up?

Just saw him play a couple of times, but yeah he's the real thing. Anyone that doubts that just check Gomab's post on his Top 55 thread. That should tell you more.

GOMAB, "Joseph Bailey... Team is 16-2 and he just lit up AA York for 34 points and 7 treys. Over 20ppg now on a balanced scoring team..." Not knocking the kid- he can play. But when you say he is averaging over 20 that is misleading and could cause to think things that aren't true. Wrong or right people have an infatuation with the 20ppg plateau and Bailey isn't reaching it. The tennessean's box scores have him at more like 16ppg. That's small I know but it makes a difference in some people's minds. Also not all records on CoachT are correct. For example Van Buren was credited with 2 losses against westmoreland on the same night. Pretty sure that's impossible.

Whenever VB's players decide to play they can be tough. Unfortuneately they wait until the 2nd half most games to play. If they play D and don't turn it over they can play with anybody. Just haven't seen them do that since before Christmas. Maybe they start tonight?
