  1. 2 maybe, I don't see 3. McEwen 30 and Cascade 18 at half time
  2. I will agree that Cascade has been beaten by Moore County by more than 1 point twice this season, so the player in foul trouble probably had a lot to do with this. However, that doesn't mean a player won't get into foul trouble again. Also, HC more than likely brought the bench in after half time or earlier so comparing the WHH scores between the two won't bring much to the discussion. The way I see it, if HC can hit their shots, it will be a close game. MC will more than likely rely on Raby the whole night, as that's where there better chances will be. It's all a lot of if questions really. I guess we will all find out Monday.
  3. I believe Patrick Mullinicks, from McEwen, deserves to be put in the mix too
  4. Inside game will be key for MC in their match-up. However, if HC is hitting, they can take the lead. It will be interesting to watch.
  5. I think Moore Co. Vs. HC may be closer. Still expect Moore county to pull out the win.
  6. McEwen, Moore County, and Houston County pull out wins. Waiting on the MTCS and NC scores
  7. Thought they were cousins somewhere down the line, just wasn't sure how far down. Thanks for clarifying for everyone lol.
  8. I think they are cousins, but I don't think they're 1st cousins.
  9. Please tell me you are joking. A baby doesn't reach puberty! Puberty hits a kid when they're in their preteen/teen years and any parent would know bc they went through it! If you don't know the meaning of the word, you need to worry about your education and your son's genetics, not his athletic career! P.s. DUH A baby can't chew steak! I seriously hope you are just joking.
  10. Me either. I didn't know about the two game limit....
  11. I agree. Anything can happen.
  12. I think both options are a smack in the face to a high school team. The situation shouldn't have been made at all. But, either way, looks like Btw got the upset many were hoping for. They got beat in the championship by Westwood.
  13. Wasn't really an upset. HC only beat McEwen by 5 the two times they played before. Close games every time they played with both teams getting a lead at some point. McEwen just decided it was their time to win. I think HC will get to play Moore County in the second round but idk about the outcome. Then again, as said before, Cascade did only lose by 1 to Moore County. Never know what to expect come tournaments. Anything can happen.
  14. Didn't say I wanted him to do that. I am a female player, I don't have to worry about it. I'm just saying that is the least he could have done. I've seen it done before, it's just to be nice. I don't know the coach, and I know almost nobody has anything nice to say about him. That's why I said that's something he COULD have done. I know that when I'm playing a game, I don't watch the score unless it's a close game or I'm on the bench. It would of at least been an effort.
  15. I hope you're right. But, only time will tell!
  16. It'd be interesting with Moore County's star players Sarah Raby (post) and Rachel Garland (point). Sarah Raby would be their big factor against HC. BUT, hopefully McEwen can pull it out and play Moore County. Would love to play them.
  17. I understand that. Even if the 3rd string was in and scoring like some are saying...they could have kept stats in the book and kept it off the boards during the game. The coach could have requested that.
  18. I agree. It should be up to the coach to slow the game, not a ref.
  19. Suprisingly, Bedwell (6"8) doesn't stay under the basket all the time. He is under there a lot, but not 24/7. WHH isn't very strong at the 3 point line with pressure on them, and as for having a 6'5 guy along with Bedwell, I'm pretty sure McEwen..10-A.. has 4 players at 6'5 or taller and 2 start. The 6''5 guy isn't hard to stop, it's just Bedwell, whom fouls a lot as well. Height doesn't make them unbeatable as we know, and it shouldn't. It takes much more than one big guy to make a team unbeatable.
  20. It's hard enough to beat a good team 3x in a row, let alone 4. Btw may be good, but I think they may need to be worried instead of going in cocky. I never seen either of these teams play, but this goes for any good teams who are meeting a 3rd or 4th time and one hasn't won yet.
  21. I believe Houston County will pull out a win. They are a great team, a lot of shooters on the team. Defense may be there weakness against Cascade, depending on how they play, but I still think they can do it. Interested in comparing strengths and weaknesses. I don't know much about Cascade.
  22. Consolation is Nashville Christian and White House Heritage. More than likely, Heritage will face Moore Co. And NC will play MTCS. That's what's expected, but then again you never know in tournament time!
  23. I'm not sure if it is, but it definitely should be. All aspects of the game are vital and a great player should be able to do it all.
