MILAN 35-covington 21. Covington has ball control issues. That's why i say MILAN wins by 14. covington not as bad as i thought they were going to be this year. Havent really played anyone. Milan just seems better on defense. and we all know that defense wins Championships.

They are a good team maybe even great in there division. but they are playing the big boys this week.

It honestly doesnt matter if you have "new plays". Games are won and lost in the trenches and there is no hope for lil ole covington. Especially on the O-line. They play with great heart but it wont help in this game Brighton is too big and to well coached against the wing-t. I mean its said how small they are. I think its 54 is so small but i will give him this he is not as clumsy as years before. and 60 isnt much bigger but on film he doesnt finish blocks real well....maybe laziness?

I stilll don't understand the relevance of a collegiate baseball scholarship to high school football? Sounds like Williams is more concerned with his own well being than the teams. I have seen Giles Play they are very good maybe even great. Only time will tell. but heart will get you a long way and from what i hear Hickman Co. has that. So i will say Giles by 2 scores.

#1 Watson cant throw if he is on his back. #2 Covington coaching staff is very predicatble in clutch situations the will go with the run. #3 Heard Williams has a pro carreer in baseball waiting. That explains the reason they moved him to WR. I guess at Covington players dictate where they play. Granted if by some chance covington throws the ball we all know who is getting it. advantage any team that plays lil ole covington.

This game will be a tight game first half, but Brighton will prevail. Brighton offense will be to strong for covington defense. As the game goes on the o-line for Brighton will be able to whip the d-line for covington. covington offense is very predictable and easy to stop. all you have to do is attack the guards which Brighton has done the past couple of years and you see the results. I understand that they have moved the williams kid to WR. Seems like a very bad move by the coaching staff in an offense that prides itself on a 3 back system you would think that putting both Williams and White in the backfield would be the best move. Dyersburg will win. Too Physical. CC will have to do some growing up.

CC is tough. I think they will match Covington's speed. And they are big up front I just don't think Covington will be able to run on them. CC offense is very predictable. And Covington's D will slow them down. Final score. CC 28 Covington 14

OC's head coach made the right call to go for 2. Just a dumb play. Why would you not give it to Fair? He's a man! And has a alot of class. As for number 9, the kid has skills and speed but does not have any class at all. Karma got him all that talk and tauting caught up to him in the end.

Covington will not be able to stop the Dyersburg option game. Covington's defense is struggling second half of te season. As far as Dyersburg defense there d- line is to big for Covington's o-line.

Best back isn't playing ( Carlos williams) due to a season ending injury. But pick anyone of the other Covington RBs Colliar Robinson Tierence Pierson or Jonhsron White.

This is extremely SOFT and a disgrace to football. This is the greatest game to ever be invented. And one of the reasons it's so great is the fact that you play regardless of weather! OC really looks bad! That's the difference between champions and mediocre teams. Champions would do their thing regardless of weather.

Lets get this started. Covington coming off a dissapionting loss to Milan will have to rebound. Ripley having nothing to play for is dangerous in the situation. I honestly think Ripley has a great chance to win if they run straight at the defense of Covington. Covington's D- line is small and weak but the are quick and there linebackers are not very physical. Ripley's game plane must be attack down hill and work play action pass as well. And as far as Covington's offense they better show up there O-line is very small and timid. Only thing they have is RBs that are fast but they can't hang on to the ball. Ripley has the best chance to beat covington but it will still be close.

Go DHS saw d-burg play Covington. You have to remember now Covington was just coming off losing both of their Top 2 Running backs and were still trying to figure out how to undo the kinks n the offense. D-burg just got whipped in the fourth quarter

Going to be a barn burner. D-burg will not win bc the don't have as much speed as Covington. And that's what tore up OC.

You know I don't understand why people have said on here that Covington was so big up front. Have you seen the size of there o- line there guards are four foot tall! No offense to them. Only big one was the center. Milan's lines on both sides of the ball were huge compared to Covington. In regards to the comments made about the coatchings staffs: Milan's staff is good and so is Covington's. The reason the HC for Covington had no success at Ripley was bc the attitude of the players at the end of the day. You either want it or you don't and Covington's players have huge hearts bc those guys are extremely small and fought the big boys from Milan all night long. And as to Covington's HC reaction to the call at the end he did the right thing.
