Why no mention of Harpeth or Goodpasture? Hume Fogg did beat CPA and did make it to the State Tournament... CPA didn't knock them out--CAK did...same team that knocked out CPA (only difference the draw)... Region 5 had a good showing...It's unfortunate the 2nd best team in the state was knocked out in the 1st round...jk Personnally, I would have preffered a HF/CPA final---two evenly matched teams...I enjoyed watching all three games the two teams played with CPA winning 2 of them and a combined total of 2 goals apiece... I also felt #12 was one of the best players I watched all year, CPA's striker was exciting, and also #22 was memorable, and I can't forget the fullback who is tough as nails...(and I thought the game was to be televised today---I wanted to root for CPA) One other comment I would like to make is how outstanding the linesmen and referee's were...The tournament should be proud for fielding such excellent overseers...Super performances...

Now wait a second...What does CPA being in the final have to do with Hume Fogg watching and not playing? Or CCS for that matter...CPA just had the lucky draw...Hume Fogg or CCS could possibly be in the final if they had drawn CPA's side of bracket...CAK beat Hume Fogg 3-1 same as CPA in State---HF just drew them in the first round...I never got to see CCS play but I would imagine they had a great team also... Didn't Hume Fogg beat CPA 2-1 in District Finals...and lose to them 1-0 in Region Finals (while having the keeper misplay a ball to start the 2nd half? and missing a break away and a penalty kick at the end of each half?) CPA had a great season and were fortunate to make it to the final---but other teams played extremely well and could have been in their spot and would have been just as deserving... It seemed to me that almost all the teams were evenly matched except for CAK which was overloaded with talent and speed...

I find that hard to believe---since the bathrooms are no where near where the parents sit...The bathrooms are at the end of the stands and out toward the street in a secluded sort of area...It seems to me people would be sent with the kids because it is near the street at Old West High School...Which has nothing to do with Hume Fogg's parents and fans...But, whatever...
