So Coach E is going to get it?

A former Indy coach has put his hat in the ring.

I would think that he would be a candidate for the Franklin job. I am still hoping he gets it. Does anyone even know if he has put his name in for it? His time at Independence was definitely fun to watch. We should have one a title if not for beating ourselves. Coach E would be the right man to straighten out the mess at FHS. Championships are waiting to be had.

Who is that cougar emerging from the shadows of Rector???

I've heard a couple of things. I've heard that Clayton is done. I'm not sure about the metro rumor. I also heard a particular Centennial asst may be "rebelling" soon.

I noticed other coaches on here get blasted for dumb decisions but no one has dared to say anything about the almighty Rector who gave the game to Lenoir City and also put Eubank's defense in a tight spot. From The Tennessean Then in the second quarter Centennial went for it on fourth-and-1, but Darius Steele was tackled for a 1-yard loss on a running play, which gave Lenoir City the ball at the Cougars’ 33-yard line. Coach, did you really feel your team was so desperate against the Panthers that you had to roll the dice in the 2nd quarter only trailing by 10? By not punting and giving the defense a chance to hold, you gave a short field to LC which cashed in easily. Being down 17 to 0 was just too much to overcome. It hasn't been luck. It's been a weak schedule. CHS has played three quality opponents in Franklin, Brentwood, and Independence. CHS beat Antioch who only beat up on other Nashville schools and lost to an 8 seed in the first round. CHS beat Wilson Central who won 2 games. CHS beat Cane Ridge who went 1-9. CHS beat Ravenwood who only had wins over Cane Ridge and Hillsboro. CHS beat Shelbyville who obviously playe in a weak division and without their best player. CHS beat Hillsboro who won 3 games. CHS beat Tullahoma who was missing one of their studs and needed six turnovers to do it. I give credit for winning the games you should but does it prepare you for the long term? This year may be fool's gold but Eubanks's D is for real. Go Cougars! How does CHS fair against a true quality opponent? Someone post updates when you can please.

No need to apologize. We played a bad first half offensively. We were very fortunate. If Tullahoma scores on those first two drives instead of turning it over our goose may have been cooked early. Not to mention Tullahoma was missing Berks/Burks? Where was he? injuried? No team can overcome six turnovers.

They should. #6 seed versus #7 seed

Lenoir City can now travel to Franklin. should be a good one
