I believe that Henry is one of the best teams in 5A, learned that from experience from my years playing against them, so a lot of respect for the program. Even though they beat the memphis teams more times than not, it just always seems that they are overwhelemed everytime in the beginning of game, thats why I say if they start fast and withstand the adjustments that the good coaches from Henry usually make, they will win the game, as far as the Whitehaven coment is was directed to the few that believes that Henry is better than Haven my a mile is crazy to me personally. Haha I can not stand Whitehaven because of the rivalary, but there is no way Henry CO would last 3 quarters with those guys and as far as White Station, maybe just maybe you could beat those guys depending on how fast they start, Henry has probably their best team in the past 6 or 7 years but still not as good as they seem.

They will most likely spread you out. Love the pieces Ridgeway have to win this game, their Defense is nowhere near as good as Whitehaven but that is neither here no there. Playing in games like this in my high school years this game always comes down to adujustments. Film will do both teams no justice honestly. The team with the coaching to do so quickly will win this game. With me being a little bias I will say Ridgeway wins by 7, they will come out early with I say about a 2 to 3 td lead then Henry co fights back but Ridgeway holds on for the win! BRING THE GOLD BALL BACK TO THE M!!!!

Oh yes I respectfully agree with your post I understand that you can not control your district opponents, and for the topic sake you guys will have the clock running by 2nd quarter, too much for that team to handle. I was just stating that I think district wise other teams have it tougher, with reference to Boise St. Still think you guys are one of the top 2 teams in 5a and top 10 in Tennessee! But with the loses to some of the tougher teams it just happens doesnt discount how good a team is, just the constant pounding you take week end and week out and other uncontrollable factors, records dont do justice to those teams. I believe you guys have the tools to win it all because what I have noticed on stats from this year than the other years is the improvement on D! Good luck to you guys and outside of my home you guys have the best fans hands down!

I will say that the Henry Co. program is a very special one. I am a former player of Melrose 2004-07 and had the chance to play them for three years and I must say they have a good if not great team year in and year out! I will say that they do have the advantage of playing a weaker schedule than the memphis teams usually does. The strength of schedule of a high caliber Memphis team will outweigh Henry Co. schedule anyday so records can be misleading. I do think that Henry CO. is the Boise St of High School football, a very good team but doesnt play a tough enough schedule, but like Boise when they play a great team they find a way to win. Is this team better than the team with Teague and Allen? Dont sleep on the Memphis teams, they wont blow a 20 point lead like we did!
