I work with Dressers dad. He will be enrolling in Arlington as a freshman if not at Arlington rumor has it that he would consider Briarcrest as 5 or 6 of his Dulins Dodgers team members will be enrolled there as well. Either way the kid will not be in Dresden so enjoy watching this special kid while you can. Dressers dad wants him to play the toughest competition out there which is why he plays summer baseball with Dulins and they travel throughout the US finding such competition. He will be a 3 sport star in high school but it will be his sister the track star that has the bigger career.

how much time left in game?

As #22's father I say thanks. It was a heartbreaking loss and my son's last high school game. However he does get 1 more shot on the high school grid iron when he plays in the Liberty Bowl All-Star game at MUS on Dec. 10.

7 hours till Arlington shocks Da Haven!!!!

Arlington is terrible? How do you come up with that? Another one of your no nonsense posts. How are you going to feel tomorrow night when this terrible Arlington team comes into your home and ends your teams season. I guess we know what you will eating for Thanksgiving..crow. Can't wait till kickoff. After tomorrow night no one else will have to read another post from Jus Sayin Respect Da Haven till next year. You can start your 1st post next year by telling everyone how Arlington robbed Whitehaven of a shot at a state championship and how this year will be different and you have already booked your rooms to Cookeville and that 2013 will be Da Havens year. They need to be the BEST in the state to stop Arlingtons air attack. And for pats73 Arlington does have a running game we just don't run. Arlington spreads the ball to 5 different atheletes that can all take it home. This is going to be a very good game.

Tell me how you get the teams in 6A disrespecting Da Haven because no one on their team was nominated for an individual award? Isn't Da Havens's real goal a state championship? That will be done by a team not an individual. Good luck finding that respect.

I'm not trying to talk smack I am just responding to someone who is asking for everyone to respect Da Haven but giving respect to no one.

Da Haven beat White Station 26-17 dosen't sound like you drilled them. Arlington also beat White Station 20-13. You keep talking about respecting Da Haven but you don't show any respect to any one else. You know what they say about respect??? You have to earn it!!!! Let your team show it on the field and then everyone will have to respect them. Come Friday we will find out who the better team is!!!

How is getting beat 10-7 by Smyrna being robbed. Interceptions and fumbles cost you that game. Sounds like your whinning about a loss. Arlington does respect Whitehaven and that will be the difference in this game. Don't wait for an apology from me. And you will see what Arlington is all about on Friday as well. Believe that!!

You must be smoking crack. There isn't a team in the state that would shut this offense out. I can only hope that your team will take us as lightly as you do. A word of advice though...don't go booking no rooms in Cookeville. As far as being intimidated during warm ups thats a joke as well. Arlington will be READY!!! I will save you some crow for later. Now that you ask yes we were missing our starting RB, a 2 time all district RB and 3 year starter, and we were missing another 3 yr starter on defense. The DB that was missing has 6 interceptions in 5 games this year, he too is a 2 time all district DB and 3 year starter. Both seniors and leaders. Yes we played our starting QB but several key components were missing. We may not have been as short handed as you but we were short handed none the less.

Just so you know Arlington was missing several starters in the spring game as well. If you haven't heard they have a pretty good baseball team and the baseball guys didn't play. This will be a game. Arlington has always had a potent offense but now the defense is playing at a high level. They will be ready for a tough physical game on both ends. Don't expect us to fade down the strecth. Either way this game is close.

As a friend of Coach Rutherford I expect them to be ready and beat a very good Brighton football team. As an Arlington supporter I hope we get the chance to face either one of these teams in the quarterfinals. Good luck to both. I am sure it will be a close game either way.
